Tonight I blew out a steer tire 4.5 miles away from RPM tire shop called a road service and technician wanted to be paid for tire and rim prior to coming out here after that he has not answered the phone, I have been waiting 3 hours on the side of the road for him to show up

Yes,I've been waiting over 2 hours working on 3 hours to have the tires I purchased here rotated and balanced. Don't come without and appointment, because you'll be pushed back everytime an appointment arrives...even if you were told it would be 1.5 could be here 3 plus hours!Bad idea to make appointments that can fill your bays constantly. There should be at least two bays dedicated to move incoming customers and new customers through.I've been a customer for over 20 years, purchasing tires for up to three and four vehicles in a year. This is the first time I've thought that purchasing tires somewhere else might be a better idea..

Mac Halk Ford Lincoln
Mac Haik Ford replaced the transmission on my 2007 Mercury Mountaineer in 12/2014. The transmission went out again in 1/16 - 13 months later and was repaired under warranty. Now here we are 18,000 miles and 13 months later and the transmission went out again. And of course it is not covered under warranty, conveniently. Mac Haik and Ford Corporate both state that they will not warranty the transmission. BEWARE any work you have done there. Maybe even Fords in general, since this is my first Ford automobile.

Rpm Truck & Tire Center
I have been doing business at RPM since they opened in 1997. Today I put 6 tires on my truck for a very fair price! The business is family owned and operated and they do quality work. All of the lugs nuts are even torqued by hand to ensure they are tightened correctly.. I will be back for the next round!

Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.
