A Plus Auto Body
Following a fender bender, I couldn’t decide where to take my car for repairs. After seeing all the 5-star reviews for A+ Auto Body right in my hometown, I decided to give them a try. I’m so glad I took my car to them! They did an excellent job and were great to work with. My car looks better than ever. A+ Auto Body is an outstanding family-owned business staffed with people who truly care about their customers. They coordinated with the other driver’s insurance when they saw the original estimate wouldn’t cover what it was going to take to fix my car right. When they learned my car would be ready at the same time that I needed to head to the funeral home to prepare for a visitation, they worked extra hard to get my car ready a few hours earlier. When I arrived to pick up my car, I saw that they’d cleaned and detailed it. As they handed me the keys, they also indicated that the beautiful floral arrangement in the office was for me, as an expression of their sympathy on the loss of my mother. They truly went beyond my expectations!

A Plus Auto Body
I needed a repair with paint work and wanted to pay out-of-pocket. A+ Auto Body quoted a good price and was able to work with my schedule. The paint match and repair was excellent. I asked David, the owner, to recommend a local service shop to check the AC and alternator belts and he said they could do that. With 90,000+ Miles on this Sienna, i thought it was time to have the original belts replaced. They changed two belts while the van was still there. This was my first experience with A+.A+ is the first place I will call in the future for similar work. (Not a relative, employee, or acquaintance of the owner or employees.)

David and the fine folks at A+ have taken care of two different truck issues I have experienced in the past couple of years. The first was a t-bone accident that they repaired so well you could never tell it had been scratched. The most recent was an issue (on a different truck) with water coming into the passenger side floor board. They had to re-seal several seams and like before, you could not tell the truck had been touched. They do a 1st rate job at a very good price. I would not only use them again, but highly recommend them to anyone needing such services. A+++ in my book. - Dean Scott

Checkered Flag Auto Body
My mom was traveling through Georgetown on her way home from visiting us when she bumped a post and knocked her bumper off. After speaking with several repair centers who told her she would have to replace it, she called Checkered Flag Collision Center. Willie, the owner, told her he was closing up for the night and to stay put, he would be right there. He drove over to meet her and popped her bumper right back on. That is amazing customer service! Thank you Willie!!

Fortune Collision
Had an unfortunate accident with a new driver 2 weeks before moving across country. Fortune in Georgetown, KY got me in and out in two days and you can't tell where the damage was. Very friendly staff, kept within estimate, and I couldn't be happier!

Top notch restoration on my 1969 Corvette. Most knowledgeable shop in the area for Corvettes hands down. Quality and service were more than I could have imagined. A great all around experience. I am an A+ customer for life.
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
