Tree Care
We have been getting quotes for the past month and out of 10 companies that I found right here on yp the only one who showed up on time when he said he was coming was James Terry! Everyone else either showed up late or never showed up at all! We called James back a few days later to set up appointment to do the Job and he fit us in within the week. James & his Crew took out 12 trees for us and did an Amazing Job! The Job was done Professionally and the Clean up was Better than it was when they got here. What else I liked was James did not ask for a Deposit or any money during job. His Insurance was up to date with General liability & also Workers Comp. I would recommend James Terry Tree Service to anyone you want regret getting this business! Just read the other reviews it proves itself! Thank You James & Crew for your Work it looks GREAT! -SB

Rocky's Tree Service
I had a large Bradford Pear split and fall onto a neighbor’s tree. I decided to remove the entire tree, and enlisted Rocky’s. The price was comparable to all other estimates, and the very next morning, bright and early, Rocky’s showed up with a crane, dump trucks, wood chipper, stump grinder, equipment, and workers galore. A neighbor had contacted me that morning about trees hanging over their property, and Rocky took on the extra work to my neighbor’s delight. Within 2 hours, the Bradford Pear was gone, stump grinded, and work area cleaned; the neighbor’s driveway was trimmed; and Rocky had even spoken to the neighbor who’s tree had been damaged by mine about cleaning up his tree. I was happy. My neighbors were happy. I definitely recommend Rocky’s Tree Service to anyone.

Tree Care
We contacted 3 tree services to give us a quote on removing a tree in our back yard. It was a difficult tree and all companies explained that however James went into details in describing the process and the task that would need to be taken to remove. James was not the cheapest nor the highest but said he would match the price if someone priced it lower. I called him and he did! They had to bring in a crane and I got to say these guys are Gifted! As James explained on day one the process was exactly the same as he told me it would be. Step for Step. Though he told me NO I even decided to pay them the price of most expensive bid bc of there Work ethic and politeness. The guys was amazing and I'd recommend them to anyone!

Tree Care
We had been quoting the removal of two trees on our property for two years and received quotes ranging from $8000 (GAK!!!) to $1400. James not only beat the quotes but let us know we didn't have to remove one of the trees, just trim it and we could save it. Everyone else wanted our money and didn't care if the tree go saved or not. James was honest and earned our trust. His crew was courteous, great with my dogs, and cleaned up the yard better than before they started. They've only done the work yesterday and I have already given his number to four other people!!! I would not hesitate to have him back. Great job guys. THank you for all of your hard work!!!!

Tree Care
This company just removed 5 trees from my property. They were very large trees and two of them hung over my home, one was leaning over the top of the home from the front yard and extended into the back yard. They also had to raise the canopy on one tree that had many large limbs over my home. They got it all done in two days. They were very professional and very careful. I highly recommend using them. He had to use a crane on one and tree climbers on the others because of the steep hill that is my front yard. They had many ropes and tied everything off to keep it from damaging our home.

Tree Care
This was a Very Good experience for me! I moved here from out west where we had trees but not like here so I was so confused on what I needed to do and uneducated. I called TreeCare they were prompt, very well organized and extremely knowledgeable when it came to trees. I was a little scared at first due to not knowing anyone local but they made me feel much better! Tree work isn't the cheapest thing but after calling a few other companies I found these guys were in the ball park and after the time they spent explaining everything I made the decision to go with them & I'm so Glad I did!

Tree Care
Over the weekend, we had a Bradford Pear tree split and fall on our property. it landed on our fence and in our neighbors yard. After a prompt call back from Mr. Terry he came out and gave us an estimate for removing the downed tree and another Bradford close to our house. Not only was he prompt, but was able to start the work next day.His crew arrived and was very professional and explained the process they were going to take in removing the trees. We were so pleased with their work we had them trim 4 more trees on the property.Very professional and would recommend to friends.

Rocky's Tree Service
I am a repeat customer of Rocky's. He cut some trees a couple of years ago at my house. I recommended him to my parents because they needed some trees removed and some trimmed. Rocky was at our location for two days, Monday and Tuesday (Feb 20-21st) and did a great job. The trees that they trimmed looks really good. Also during the job they kept the yard clean of debris and completely cleaned the yard and it looks really good. Rocky was easy to work with and very professional. I highly recommend Rocky's Tree Service to any one that needs this type of work done.

Rocky's Tree Service
I had a tree which was rotten and leaning toward a neighbor’s apartment building. Rocky took care of everything. He gave me a fair price. One company did not call me back and another company did not want to touch the tree and told me I would have to rent a crane as well. Rocky has his own equipment, crane, bucket truck, chipper, etc… He talked with all the tenants at the apartment building to ensure their safety during the process. Did the job in a few hours the next morning and kept the yard clean of debris. Great job! Thanks, Mitch

Gray's Lawn Care
Our schedule got so busy and hectic, we didn't have time to mow and trim our yard. I sent several people a request for a quote. Mr Gray got back to me immediately. he had looked up the property online and gave me a quote (MUCH better than any of the other quotes) and he was at our house that evening. The yard looked so good, we asked him to come back every other week. We also asked him to trim our hedges, which he did on his second trip. It was also time for aeration and he did that as well. Very nice guy and always professional.
Tips & Advices
Irrigation system advantages:
  • Lowers water bill and maintenance time with scheduled watering
  • Evenly distributes water
Irrigation system disadvantages:
  • Professionally installed systems cost between $3,000-$4,000 for a quarter-acre lot.
  • Some do-it-yourself systems cost up to $1,500 but are difficult to install.
  • You may need to call a professional electrician and plumber, adding $300-$600 to your project.
Some plants can stand up to the cold weather, like kale or pansies. These can be planted in the autumn or early winter. Other plants need to wait until the soil is warm and ready. Plant perennial flowers in mid-autumn or mid-spring. If you're planting from seed or sprout, you can generally find information about planting conditions on the package.
Why get artificial grass?
  • Cuts down on lawn maintenance
  • It's environmentally friendly since there’s no need to water.
  • Artificial grasses may be more attractive than real grass in drought-stricken areas.
Why stick to the real deal?
  • Artificial grass has a high upfront cost - $15 to $20 per square foot.
  • It can be difficult to install.
  • Inexpensive options might look unnatural.
  • It gets hot in the sun.
First, determine which pests you're dealing with. Mounds or tunnels indicate moles or voles. Apply castor oil to your lawn; they'll find another digging spot. Determine which bugs you have by pouring a bucket of soapy water onto the lawn. The bugs will surface so you can identify them. Milky spore and nematodes keep grubs and other bugs at bay. Insecticidal soap also works. The best way to prevent pests is with good yard maintenance. Certain bugs prefer overwatered lawns or yards with thatches. Regular mowing, watering, and dethatching discourage pests from moving in.
Fertilizer isn't always necessary, but it can keep your lawn looking lush and healthy. Use fertilizer with slow release nitrogen so it doesn't encourage weeds to grow. Keep in mind that overfertilizing can spur weed growth. However, under-fertilizing can result in weak grass, which gives weeds more space to take root.
