Tails R Waggin' Day Spa & Resort, LLC
My opinion of this facility dramatically changed over a short 10 day period. I was notified on a Friday there had been an incident with my puppy and another dog. I was told there had been issues for "months" between the two dogs, but I had no clue. I took my dog to daycare on Monday and spoke with the manager. I wanted to know what was going on. I was assured by the manager it was "not a big deal", that they loved her, etc. Monday and Wednesday were uneventful. On Friday I was contacted that my dog had to be picked up immediately because there had been another incident with the same dog. I was forced to leave work early to pick her up. When I arrived I could hear her howling/crying very loudly from the other room. No one from management was there, but the only staff member stated she would have the manager call me. I did not receive a call that evening or over the weekend. On Monday morning my dog was scheduled for daycare and since I wasn't told otherwise I took her. When I arrived the manager came out of her office and told me they would no longer accept my dog. I was told my dog's presence in the group "challenged the alpha" and other dogs were misbehaving because of this. She also said "I know I should have called you this weekend, but I just didn't". Right - instead of calling she waited until I would be coming (with my dog!) on my way to work to inconvenience me. I had to take my dog back home and then drive to work - of course being late! We could argue all day about whether or not my dog should have been asked to leave - the reasoning, in my opinion is pretty questionable. But, my real issue with Tails R Waggin is the incredibly poor customer service, poor management, and general lack of respect. My dog has attended another daycare since leaving Tails R Waggin without issue. I have spoken to others and I feel confident saying the management and staff at Tails R Waggin are unqualified, unprofessional, and ill-equipped to properly manage a dog care facility.

Tails R Waggin' is much more than a daycare or grooming business to my dog and me. After rescuing a very active Aussie mix, I was totally overwhelmed as a new dog owner. The employees at Tails R Waggin' have been a total support system to us. The trainer has professional schooling, the groomer has specialized training, and daycare personnel are patient and kind. The facilities are spotless and animal friendly. Tails r Waggin' has been a life saver to "Daisy" and me. I highly recommend this business.

I find it funny that the only reviews are from employees . What i saw were , rude people , dogs without water in the cages, and feces in the "suites"

Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
