Caromont Pediatric Partners
We are blessed to have the doctors and staff at Pedatric Partners in Gastonia see our daughter. We have never had anything but wonderful experiences. After tonight, I have to brag on our visit. I called after 7. It is a Friday night. As soon as I told the receptionist (Melissa) what was wrong with my daughter, she said to bring her in right then. We hardly waited. We saw Dr. Baker. This was our second visit with him, and I just can't say enough wonderful things about this man. He is patient and gentle. The first time we saw him was a week ago when we thought my daughter just had a bad cold but unfortunately, her condition quickly progressed over the last week. He and his amazing nurse (I hate I can't think of her name!) took such excellent care of my princess. When I walked out of the room and was terribly upset while the nurses worked with my daughter, Dr. Baker consoled me and continued to check on me to make sure I was okay. On a late Friday night while they were at work away from their family, they were still able to show such compassion and warmth to me and my daughter. That means more to me than they could possibly know. ...We have also seen Dr. Alexander and Dr. Petree and they are EXCELLENT too! Thank you to everyone at Caramont Pediatric Partners Gastonia!

Gore, Herman C
I almost cancelled my appointment due to this rating. I'm glad I didn't. I have never had spinal injections before nor do I live in the same town as Dr. Gore so I had zero knowledge of him or the processes going in. Waiting room was typical. Busy staff, move from waiting room to 3 chair queue for treatment. I was filling out new patient forms anyway and they got to me before I was finished. When Dr Gore came in I was shocked at how friendly, energetic and engaging he was. He took more than adequate time to answer all my questions, throroughly evaluated me, plotted a course of action and administered it, all the while, precisely telling me ahead of time what was going to happen and what to expect. Effectively targeted my C5/6 joint. Too early to tell if it worked but I just had to write another review in case the previous revewer may disuade anyone from treatment. I don't know what the problem was then but I guess every doctor lets somebody down from time to time. Hope this helps somebody out there.

Belaire Health Care Center
Belaire Health Care is a blessing to me & my family. The staff is outstanding, friendly, caring & compassionate. From the time my husband arrived until the day he left, the staff treated him like he was their own personal family member. These employees have a tremendous amount of responsibility in the care of the residents and are eager to work with the family. The facility is very clean. When you enter the building, it gives you the feeling that everything will be OK with your family member. That your loved one will be in an environment that is well kept, clean and odor free. It was very helpful to us that the facility has a beauty / barber shop in the building for the residents. This is a plus for the long-term residents who are unable to travel to a barber / beauty shop outside the facility. The PT & OT department is fantastic. They did a tremendous job bringing my husband from lying in the bed to walking. I can't sing their praises enough.

Outreach Management Services
The office is very nice. The reception staff is friendly. Nurse Practitioner Suddreth is absolutely amazing. She does not rush through the appointment With her you are apart of the care team. Other Mental Health Clinicians (doctors in the area) just dump you on an SSRI and see you next month. I call it "The Hundred dollar handshake" . With Lisa you are involved in your care and she remembers things we have talked about months ago. I've made more progress with Lisa than I have in years. Kari-Ann the counselor is amazing also. She gives coping skills and breathing techniques. She listens really well and gives excellent constructive feedback. From time to time I have had to wait 45 mins too see Lisa. She takes the time she needs with the patient so going over her schedule is inevitable. Scheduling an appointment can be kind hard because they have a high patient volume.

Dr. Erin E Hartwell, MD
I had been going to see Christine for a few years and I felt like the last time I saw her she blew me off when I was having a problem. I saw Dr. Hartwell yesterday for my yearly physical and she was so nice. She sat down and asked me if I had any concerns or questions and I told her I was thinking about getting and IUD and she explained to me the different types and what to expect after it was inserted and what to prepare for when I come to have it inserted. She told me that I would be a good canditate for it with my medical history. She was very nice, she had a wonderful bedside manner to her. She was the best GYN I've been to in a long time. I really like her alot. I trust her with my health completely. She's the best doctor in this practice. If you don't have a GYN yet you need to go see Dr. Hartwell. She's everything you want in a GYN. She's warm, kind, sweet, caring and more.

Draughn, David G, MD
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Draughn and his staff. When I went for my appointment the receptionist greeted me with a smile. After I filled out my paperwork she told me that some one would be with me shortly. Soon after that the ultrasound girl came and got me for test on my veins. Dr. Draughn went over the results with me and explained the problems I was having with my veins. Once the insurance approved the procedures I needed I was scheduled quickly. After the procedures to treat my veins my legs feel so much better. The pain and swelling has improved greatly in my legs. I have highly recommended Dr. Draughn to many of my friends.

Kline Laura MD
I would recommend highly. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. They also made the procedure pain free. I was very surprised that even after the procedure that I was barely sore. They were good to explain what to expect the next few days after the procedure was done. That was very important so that once I was at home I did not freak out or think that I was having some type of complications. I have been very pleased with the care and treatment given. Everything and everyone was very professional

Tips & Advices
OB/GYNs learn to treat infertility as part of their standard education. OBGYNs who further their training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility are known as fertility specialists.
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a treatment where medication is used to replace hormones a woman's body does not create naturally. Women are prescribed either estrogen alone or a mix of estrogen and progesterone. The former is given to women who've had hysterectomies, while the latter is for postmenopausal women. HRT used to be a common treatment, but doctors have prescribed it less often in recent years, as concerns of negative side effects increased.
Endometriosis is a chronic condition where uterine tissue (endometrium) grows in areas outside the uterus. This can cause extreme pain, especially around menstruation and during sex. Other symptoms include infertility, chronic fatigue, and painful urination or bowel movements during menstruation. In addition, many women with endometriosis also have allergies, frequent yeast infections, or sensitivity to certain chemicals.
Morning sickness is a common pregnancy symptom that includes nausea and occasional vomiting. Despite its name, morning sickness can occur at any time of day. The exact reason for this condition isn't clear, although most believe it results from hormone changes affecting muscle contraction and relaxation in the stomach and intestines. Another theory suggests morning sickness is caused by an abundance of intestinal bacteria in pregnant woman.
OBGYNs can prescribe or perform the following types of birth control:
  • Contraceptive pills
  • Birth control shots
  • Implants
  • Diaphragms
  • Vaginal rings
  • Cervical caps
  • Intrauterine devices
  • Tubal ligation
  • Hysterectomies
Women do not need to see an OBGYN to obtain over-the-counter forms of birth control such as male condoms, female condoms, or sponges.
