I called their "corporate "office in Gastonia Saturday(sept8) at 9:50 a.m. & the ladythat takes messages was useless & rude & refused to give me her name. how do you work at corporate & you're useless? Like ,what are u there for? I called back again today around 9:45 &the idiot that picked up said if they're not required to give their name, if I'm a customer &I'm paying u my money every month in rent youre supposed to give me your damn name. I'm trying to get a district manager or a regional manager. all they ever give u is a # to leave a msge .absolutely useless! I would never do business with this property or their company again...

The staff at SRP make many mistakes. They are good at making excuses for their mistakes but they're not good at apologizing for that. We had issues from before we moved in until we moved out. Some of the problems include- being told the wrong amount for the cashier check we need when we moved in. - the agent who was supposed to sign our lease with us was over 30 late. - the house wasn't ready when it was supposed to be we had to wait over a week before we could move in. - when we were able to move in some repairs still needed to be made and we had to make multiple requests. - additional charges were added to our account that should not have been. - canceling repair men without contacting us, leaving us waiting for hours until finally contacting the repair company directly. - when moving out the correct prorated amount was not charged to our account and several requests had to be made before the amount was corrected. - they charged us rent even after we moved out - we got emails saying we owed money after we moved out and even an email saying an eviction process was going to be started if we didn't pay. These are just a few if the big problems we had. Nothing was easy with SRP. We had to make multiple request for anything to be fixed. June the office manage was horrible to try and deal with and sometimes I would have to email the company owners to get problems resolved.

I moved out of state before my lease was up. When my final payment was due, I was told that it had to be a check in their office within 48 hours or I would be charged a $68 late fee. I had always paid online but this last payment couldn't be pId online. I called the corporate office and the lady was very unhelpful telling me to leave a message that would go back to the apartment office. I would think twice before renting from this company... They were not helpful when I was moving out of state and not considered despite my ontime payments for 2 years.

McLeod Addictive Disease Center
Absolute nightmare. Too many clients, so patient/councelor time is limited, and the line is horrendous. Nothing runs efficiently, several people have lost jobs due to the wait time to get in and out, and the insurance claim process is a nightmare as well. It takes months to get your money back, which makes me wonder why they even accept insurance if they aren't going to file the claims on time. I do not recommend this place at all.

Fort Properties Group
Fort properties is a terrible rental company to rent from. The owners apparently moved to Atlanta and left this guy named James in charge. My house has been needing repairs since June of this year and he will not come and fix it. If the owner Justin Fort happens to see this review, please email me at samantha770@hotmail.com. I live in one of your gastonia properties.

Gastonia Gold Course/Admin
its an average course. its not in great shape like it has been in the past. The course layout isnt very challenging. The greens are fast but are starting to get some spots on them.

These apartments are run by heartless, soulless, people. I was caring for my mother who just passed away from pancreatic cancer, and these monsters threw me, my two year old son, and my autistic brother out on the streets barely 12 hours after her passing, and wouldn't even let us get all of our belongings out. They made fun of us, laughed at us, and even brought the police with them. We always paid the rent on time, never caused any problems, and we're never a nuisance. My mother even bought the staff Christmas presents, because that's the kind of caring and giving person she was. Their actions are inexcusable and cruel, and if she were alive today to see what they've done, it would break her heart.

Worst place I severe lived the property manager stole over a month's worth of the money I was paying for rent. The trailer I lived in was falling apart and they also show favoritism towards the people who have been there longer they allow them to have pets but the new people can not. They also were constantly inspecting my house cause someone was complaining but I was never really home or bothered anyone.

After owning my own home I wasn't sure how it would be to rent a home. I tried renting from an owner directly, but had a lot of issues with getting things fixed in a timely manner. I then tried SRP...they have been such a blessing! Every staff member and EVEN THE OWNER Mr. Frye, took time to get to know me and my needs. They treated every service call as if it were an emergency. The level of integrity that they exhibit is rare in the corporate world. I would recommend SRP for home rentals and if you are looking to purchase a home!!!

After reading the reviews I knew what I was getting myself into. I needed something asap so I went against my better judgment. This has been the absolute worst complex I've ever lived in. It's been 7 horrible months and yet to receive the draws to my refrigerator, screen door and whether strip for my front door. I've spoken to numerous individuals in the office and been patient. No one does their job, return calls and is very rude. I've had to contact the corporate with hopes that I would receive my requests. Needless to say my lease is will be up in December and will not be renewing! Please avoid this place, you have a better chance living in a animal shelter!
Tips & Advices
If you don't have insurance, you may be able to find outpatient programs like Narcotics Anonymous that offer counseling and meetings for patients at no cost.
Some facilities accept health insurance like United Healthcare, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Humana and Medicaid. Many carriers support in-state assessment, detox and outpatient treatment. Some also partially cover residential or inpatient treatment. Because drug addiction is considered a disease, major health insurance providers must treat it like any other chronic condition that requires medical treatment. Be sure to inquire about co-pays and deductibles so you don't receive a surprise bill months after you start a program.
Yes. Some treatment programs promote quick sobriety through seemingly impossible means, such as herbal supplements or religious affiliation. Be wary of questionable claims like, "Shake your drug addiction in one week!" If the advertising sounds too good to be true, the program could potentially be a scam. Instead, look for organizations that include approval and certification from real doctors and health care providers.
Yes. Attending a program that is specific to your drug of choice will make your treatment much more likely to be impactful and successful.  Some provide certain users with medications like Valium and Xanax to counteract symptoms of distress associated with alcohol or drug withdrawals. You may not want to attend such programs if you fear that you may instead become addicted to these substances.
Yes. A physician can determine how severe your addiction is, which will help you decide if you want to try inpatient or outpatient treatment. He or she can also consider any withstanding health issues such as psychiatric conditions that should be factored into your decision. Next, check out facilities and programs that offer treatment for the substances that you abuse.
