We were very willing to buy a car today, but we didn't end up doing so. This place has a good selection of cars at reasonable prices. However, I gave it three stars because of the customer service and the fact that they don't finance anything for longer than 12 months. My husband and I lost a car unexpectedly recently, so we were looking for a reliable, affordable vehicle. We don't want to get too much of a monthly payment until I get out of law school, when hopefully we'll be able to get a new, new car. However, while this place gives you 0% financing, they won't do anything over 12 months. Zero percent is great, but not when it means a $200/month car payment for something 8 years old that we're putting over half down on. If we had known that was the case, we wouldn't have bothered driving an hour to get there. We would have rather paid the average dealer interest rate on used cars and been able to spread out the payments a bit. The prices are quite reasonable though if you haven't just given the NC bar and Kaplan bar review a few grand. My biggest complaint, however, is the customer service. The salesperson honestly didn't seem all that interested in selling us a car. As soon as we arrived, he told us he had to leave in a little over an hour, though we had called ahead to make sure they 'd be open. He tried to tell us that the burning oil we smelled was actually the chemicals from the leather repair. BS, but my husband has worked on Volkswagens a lot, so he wasn't that concerned. Then, as soon as we asked about financing, we magically disappeared to him. He actually starting talking over me while I was sitting in front of his desk to some customers who apparently wanted to pay cash.

Pasquale's Auto Repair
It seems like its hard to find good people to work on a car or truck but if you are looking for a good mechanic in the Raleigh/Garner NC area, I would recommend Pasquale's Auto Repair. After he works on the issue and replaces a part he will show you everything he did and give you the broken part back, if you want it. He is straight forward with customers, he found the problem with my wife car when another repair shop could not. He figured out the issues with my truck very quickly and the company wanted him to install a new AC system in my truck when the only problem was the compressor. He told them no, that he just wanted the compressor, nothing was wrong with the rest of the AC system. He does not believe in changing out parts that are not needed.

Capital City Auto
A great family business that I highly recommend. I traveled from Virginia to buy a 2001 Jaguar from Capital City Auto in Feb 2017. Joe did a great job of describing the vehicle and answering my questions by phone and email. When I asked to confirm if it had heated seats he did not merely guess but said "hold on - I'll go check." When I got there, Mike helped me with looking over the vehicle and a test drive. There were no surprises. The car was just as they had described it and I was home waxing it by 5pm. It's hard to find good deals on luxury cars in Southwest Virginia, but I would gladly return to Capital City Auto again. Thanks!

Straight pricing without the games. I am not impulsive. I went to Carolina Quality Preowned as part of my research and left with a car. So NOT like me, but I felt that the price was fair and comparable to the best I could possibly do with hours of back and forth negotiation elsewhere. This was so much easier. I knew the car that I wanted and the general price ranges on various dealer lots and the preliminary pre-negotiation prices. They had my car at a great price and I was in and out super fast. Next time, I will do my research and then go straight to them. Alex even gave me their discount on services for the car months later!

About a month ago I purchased a vehicle from CQPO and I am more than satisfied with the whole transaction. The owner Alex was straight up about everything and his prices are "no haggle" which suits me fine. He worked with me for weeks which is more than I can say for other dealerships, it was worth the drive from Raleigh to Garner, he even seen me on a Sunday, his day off. Very professional to work with and I would recommend him to family and friends. I will definitely purchase another vehicle in the future from him. TOP NOTCH QUALITY!!!

I am a firm believer that if you run a respective business by a computer, that you need to have info concerning parts that has been removed to be reported on file and then you could call in and confirm that the part has been sold or it is still available. That would be very helpful to an individual to decide to drive a certain distance for a specific part. Considering that you are making a healthy profit for charging a admission fee.

4042 Motors
Very impressed with vehicle selection. The sales staff was courteous and profession. We purchased a 2014 VW Passat with only 34k miles. One owner, all service records, clean carfax. The best part was we saved $2,300 compared to a larger dealer in Clayton. They also got me a 2.79% rate on my loan. That was 2% lower than our credit union. Highly recommend 4042 Motors.

Pasquale's Auto Repair
I have had three different vehicles worked on by Pat and he has always done an excellent job. He is fair in his pricing and consults you before any work is completed. He has always show a professional attitude with me. I have recommended him to all my family and friends who now use him exclusively. If you want honest and reliable work completed. Go to Pasquales.

Great guys all around, even gave us help when vehicles needed repair Alex was willing to finance our daughters vehicle at zero percent when she came up short on funds and traditional banks would not help. Tips & Advices
Salvage yards will have different policies regarding warranties, but, in most instances, the parts you find will be covered. Some salvage yards will offer warranties of anywhere from 90 days to six months, and may even offer the option for extended coverage.
After you've successfully found a part or multiple components, take everything up to the clerk. Inform them of what you have and pay. Avoid lying about what you have as a way to pay less. You will potentially be banned if you're found lying. You-pick salvage yards will display the prices for categories of parts. Prices may fluctuate depending on the demand. Harder-to-find items could carry a higher price tag than a brand-new one. If you are salvaging for auto parts, you might see items that are difficult to find and be able to sell them for a profit. Doing so can offset the cost of the price you're paying for the parts you personally need.
It is in your interest to call the salvage yard before arriving to see if they sell smaller components individually, because some yards do not. Some owners choose to not sell small components for financial reasons.  If salvage lots come across a door without the handle, they will have to pay extra to get the handle and attach it to the entire assembly. It is therefore cost-effective for salvage lots to sell entire assemblies.
When rummaging through a car or walking around the lot, stay aware of your surroundings. Remember, you aren't the only visitor looking to salvage parts. Other individuals are also looking for components, and not everyone works as safely as possible. If you find a car you'd like to inspect, make sure working conditions are suitable, and if anything looks suspicious or dangerous, find a safer vehicle to tear apart.
