Geek Squad phone protection is not worth it.We have waited for 7 business days & called only to be told to wait another 3 days (72 hours)which is a total of 10 days for a replacement phone. We STILL have no phone.Called Geek Squad &they regurgitated what was on the service website (when it worked).Nothing they can do, "so Sorry, for you!", Oh, but they will compensate us for our extra loss of days by maybe a $25 gift card.Never again will do business with this crappy service.
The previous reviewer must have gone to a different Best Buy. My experience with Best Buy over near Firewheel mall is completely opposite. I purchased a large screen TV from them a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately it came out of the box with a bad screen. Not Best Buy's fault but the fault of the manufacturer. I notified Best Buy right away and they bent over backwards to make sure that I got a replacement TV as quickly and conveniently as possible. Everyone I spoke with was extremely understanding and most helpful. Within less than a week, they picked up the bad TV and installed the new one which works great. And less than a week later, they have already refunded my credit card for the amount paid on the returned TV. I am 100% completely satisfied with their service. I will definitely purchase electronics there again.
Called Geek squad and was put on hold immediately. Lady finally picked up, 15 minutes late! Told her my problem and was transferred to home theater, no one picked up so the same lady picked up again, so she transferred me again. No one picked up, went back to the same lady and she hung up on me. You guys suck! Worse ever!
