Automotive Profections
I read the below review and I feel surprised. I was referred to Sameer by a friend and am a very happy customer to Automotive Profections. Have referred more friends to this place and they are now loyal customers as well. Each time I have a problem he gives me the best options given my car and budget. I feel surprised on what has been written because more than once he has advised me and my friends in ways which prevent any cash flows from me to him. We have come to see over time through actions that he is truly customer centric and believes in long term loyalty benefits rather than short term payouts. He is a very friendly consistent character with a lot of experience dealing with different vehicles and am sure one visit would make you feel the same. Am neither a relative nor a co-worker to be giving this good a review. I hope as a fellow reviewer you will try out this place and add another review to bring the reality to light. :) CheersRB

Walnut Automotive
I have found a shop I can trust. Great customer service, excellent work and all at a very fair price. They even dropped me off at work so I could leave my car. I went to one of the bigger service shops in the area (you've seen their advertising). The lead mechanic seemed to more interested in selling than in fixing my problem. He told me $1,000 to start and no guarantee that the problem would be solved (car was overheating). Walnut Automotive took care of it for under $600.00 and guaranteed parts and labor. Hard to find someone you can trust when you need auto maintenance or repairs. I will go out of my way to take my car to this shop. I can leave my keys and tell them to take care of it knowing they will only take care of what needs to be done. You can't put a price on trusy.

A Plus Automotive Center
I would give Sammy a call before bringing the vehicle in for service because this place is busy.Very friendly, fast, straight forward, and easy to talk to. Other places will try to sell you BS more than what you really need, but so far I haven't experience none of that from Sammy(owner), so.. I trust him to work on my vehicle. That's why he is getting lots of good reviews from customers.Feb 4th, 2013 - 2004 Mazda 3 check engine light, replaced Turbine Speed Sensor, oxygen sensor and thermostat with thermostat housing.. excellent price and all done in few hours as he drove to get the parts himself. All done in one day.December, 2012 - 2001 Honda Accord - vibrating heavly when braking, so 2 front brake rotors replacement. 5 stars.

Impressive Auto Service
My 2000 Chevy Express 2500 broke down and turn out to be the engine. They find and replace the whole engine for 2 days (time was precious because that was my only working van) at very, very reasonable price. Not only that - They even fix my check engine light, that was a mystery for at least 5 other service shops. It turn out to be harness problem on the fuel injectors, which Impressive Auto Service fixed for few hundred instead of thousands if you go to the Dealer for diagnostic.I had very bad experience in the past with shady shops and cheaters but these people are honest and upfront and I will recommend them to everybody in need.I would like to special thanks to Impressive Auto Service and especially the owner Mike!George G.

Goodwrench Automotive LLC
I was recommended to Goodwrench by a friend when I asked if he knew of a good body guy to replace a bumper. He said you'll like him so well you'll do ALL your car maintenance business with him. They did a great job on the bumper for low cost, but it was afterwards when we were talking about doing expensive repairs with his shop that Layth was honest enough to advise me to find another car rather than pour more money into the one I had, even though it was costing him the work. I can't remember that ever happening before. So yeah, he and Basil earned my future business.

Goodwrench Automotive LLC
Layth and Basil are both very professional and knowledgeable. If you’re looking for quality repairs at an affordable price, this is it. Layth even gave me a ride to work when I dropped my car off. They did a fantastic job and the price they quoted me ended up being a little less than what was originally estimated. Wow, how often does that happen? Their thorough inspection of my car and attention to detail found a significant problem with one of my tires which could’ve resulted in death.I will definitely use them again and refer friends and family whenever possible.

mash auto repair and body shop
I had an oil change and brake service done few months back. I was very happy with the service. Last week I took my car in to replace the front bumper. When I got my car , it looked great. But there was something different about my headlight. They looked newer for some reason. So I went back in to ask the manager about it. He said we buffed the lenses, they were foggy and wanted the car to look good. I liked that about Mash and it made me feel special and appreciated.I recommend this shop for the good service and the special thing they did for me.

Windham Automotive
Being a woman and getting jerked around by other mechanics thinking I don't have a clue about cars, it's refreshing to take my car into Windham's Automotive to have work done. They are friendly, don't talk down to me, tell me exactly what's wrong, fix it, tell me how much it will be before they start working on my car, the prices are reasonable and I get my car back to me when they say they will. I will definitely take my car there forever, or at least until the zombie apocalypse starts. : D

Alliance Auto Repair
Alliance Auto is a great place to repair cars. Zach*** is exaggerating. Yes AC charges are around $140-$150 nowadays because of the Freon price. I checked everywhere. I am a loyal customer to Alliance Auto and can see the lies in Zach*** response and the nice language he is putting there. So Zach*** has a 1997 Camry, 1997 Honda and both brakes and rotors are replaced for $550, OMG....... This shop never goes up more $220-$240 on pads and rotors....are we sensing some lies here?

Japanese Domestic Auto Repair
Fast & friendly service & they don't try to get you to buy or get un needed repairs. I had them replace both front cv axles & the high pressure power steering hose on my Altima. I also purchased the parts myself from an auto store before hand. Some places won't let you do that bc they won't warranty their work, but City Garage had no problem with it. They also had my car done the next day and ready for pick up like they said they would. Very happy with their work & service.
Tips & Advices
Ceramic brake pads are made from dense, durable ceramic. They are favored for their relative silence while driving compared to metal or organic brake pads. They also have little wear and tear on the overall brake system and are very reliable. However, they are more expensive than metal or organic brake pads. Additionally, their performance deteriorates in extreme driving conditions.
Brake rotors typically last between 30,000 and 70,000 miles.
Brake shoes are used in drum brakes--rather than disc brakes--which is the original braking system designed for vehicles. Just as brake pads are the friction component of disc brakes, brake shoes are the friction component of drum brakes. When the brakes are applied, a wheel cylinder pushes the brake shoe against the brake drums, which spin while the vehicle is in motion, and causes the vehicle to stop.
A squeaking or squealing sound when applying newly replaced brakes is normal. It comes from the rotor vibrating against the new brake pads. It should quiet down after about 250 miles, and should be more or less silent by 750 miles, when the brake system has had some time to synchronize itself.
This depends on the car, the brake system, and the car owner's driving habits. Typically, a car's brakes should be replaced after about 50,000 miles, but some car's brakes may last anywhere from 25,000 to 70,000 miles. Car owners shouldn't wait for a magic number to replace their brakes. They should check them regularly, and pay close attention if they hear any weird noises or if the car feels shaky while braking. Brakes are a critical safety component of a car, so it's important to stay on top of brake maintenance.
