Don't let the outside appearance of this establishment lure you away! This establishment is absolutely awesome! The decor gave me a warm and cozy feeling. Once inside we were immediately and momentarily seated at a hibachi table upon our request. We didn't get there during rush hour, it was slowly increasing 5 minutes after we arrived. The menu we got included the prices of everything without having to question it. It's pricey and well worth it! (Nothing can put a price on anything that's priceless and memorable with the exceedingly excellent service we got at this place.) A couple sat at our table. Shortly after they requested to be seated elsewhere. Amazing how many people aren't aware the hibachi tables are made for multiple parties. Not sure if that was the case or not. They may not have felt comfortable being seated with another party or they may have simply wanted a place by themselves alone. We were served meno soup. It was served in small bowls like cups without a handle and I was tempted more than once to pick it up with both hands and drink it. I found myself caught up in the moment and wanted to do what I felt was customary due to the ambiance of this establishment. Our chef came to our table within 10 minutes after we were through with our soup. Soon he began to cook the food in front of us. Our chef showed us his skills and did it with such professionalism! He was awesome! He most certainly kept the little ones entertained from beginning to end. Unforgettable and priceless moments. Our food was cooked to pure perfection and it was suburb! It was delicious and plentiful! We will definitely visit this place again!

I have eaten barbeque all over the south and Queen's is up there with the best of them. The pink smoke ring on the brisket forewarns you of the incredible smoke flavor of the meat, complimented perfectly by their homemade bbq sauce. The brisket stuffed bake potatoes are great as well. More recently, I have been hooked on their Tejas Chicken, a huge smoked chicken breast, a couple of slices of smoked ham, with pepper jack cheese, bbq sauce on a jalepeno cheese bun. Incredible sandwich and a meal all by itself. The pecan cobbler with homemade vanilla ice cream is irrestible as well.

My family and I are in Galveston on vacation and decided to stop by the Pleasure Pier construction and noticed the FishTales restaurant directly across the street. We stopped in only to be told the wait would be about thirty minutes. We decided to stop by the bar at the hostess' suggestion and there we were blown away by the service and thoughtfulness of a bar back trainer who introduced himself as Quentin. This young man made a quick work of putting tables together in the bar seating so we could dine while being served drinks with no wait time. After turning in my alert buzzer, Quentin had even resourcefully put three high chairs together to let my nephew sit at the table square with the rest of us- a stroke of restaurant genius! We will definitely visit again when we return for summer break... for the awesome service, the great food and Quentin!

Fine seafood dining is the best I can say about these folks as it says it all. The mahi-mahi was fresh and grilled to perfection. The halibut was perfectly fried and the accompanying crab meat was succulent and divine. The risotto was my first and everything I had imagined it should be: creamy, flavorful, buttery. The crab-stuffed shrimp and crab cake were indescribably delicious. The textures, flavors, smells, and presentations were pure gourmet, and proof that fine food is good food on Galveston Island.
