Sobe Builders LLC
I paid Antonio Deligio, CEO of Sobe Builders/Bari National Builders, $9,200 to start a construction project. Replacing all the siding of my house with plywood and stucco. He had $1,275.05 of supplies delivered to the job site and then took his wife on a cruise with the rest of my money. He didn't pay his sub contractor, so I had to pay them just to keep the work going because who wants their attic open and exposed for weeks? His sub contractor would leave the job for weeks before he returned to do more work. Then he became ill and was in the hospital for a while. Antonio would not give me another crew to finish the work. I had to hire another team to finish the job and I had to buy more supplies. I paid twice as much on this project than I should have and it wasn't done to perfection. A three month job turned into a year long project and Antonio will not answer my calls. Now I have to go to court and let a judge explain to Antonio how much of a thief he is. Who wants to be bothered with that?I WILL BE GETTING MY $7,924.05 BACK!To be continued...

Fajita's
We live in Atlanta but come to Gainesville regularly to our Lakehouse. Although we consider ourselves "foodies" and eat out all the time at Atlanta's many amazing restaurants, this restaurant is one of our absolute favorites. We never get tired of it. The food is very fresh, the menu is a reasonable size and not overwhelming, and they have some excellent fish tacos and other dishes. The service is perfect and we can always get a table. It's our favorite in Gainesville and our favorite Mexican restaurant across cities!

Playaazul Marisqueria
Went there tonight and it was busy so we went straight to the bar where we were ignored for the first 10 minutes then someone came to tell us they were one for behind on food. We decided to just order drinks. Waited minimum of 45 minutes while people kept telling us they'd be right with us but never did. Horrible service and extremely overpriced for such rude service

El Griton Mexican Grill
Great authentic Mexican food and restaurant. There is a lively and fun atmosphere from the decor, to the music and even the employees. The owner is usually around and interacts with customers. It is a family owned and operated establishment which adds to the authenticity

Oriental Garden
this place is a hidden treasure.....from the outside you would never expect what is behind the beautifully decorated door.....my sister and i were impressed from the moment we walked in....the decor was very elegant and tasteful... none of that *fast food* feel that it seems most chinese restaurants have adopted....i was especially taken with the absence of a buffet line....hmmmm, let's check out the menu....everything looked good.... i chose the scallops w/shrimp & chicken, sis picked broccoli beef (i'm more adventurous!!)....the food was AMAZING....each bite was better than the last....everything was sooooooo fresh....the egg rolls and spring rolls were hot out of the fryer, but not greasy....without the *sitting on the steam table* rubberiness....the scallops were cooked perfectly, the shrimp & chicken flavorful, the beef melted in your mouth like butter, the vegetables so fresh and crisp, as if they had gone out back and picked them!!! the service was excellent, the staff attentive without *hovering*....and the prices couldn't be beat.... we were there during the lunch hour....11am-3pm....i think nothing on the menu was over $7.00...and even though we came in at 2:40, the food was as fresh & hot as if it was the first service of the day....hands down, this has to be the best chinese i've had in a long time....and i've been around....used to be a longhaul trucker, and i've eaten chinese from florida to new jersey to wyoming to utah....you get the idea.....this was top notch....lunch, drinks and a five dollar tip....under $21YUM!!!!

Rio Balsas
Just visited Rio Balsas for the first time, started with the normal chips and salsa. The salsa had no flavor other than tomatoes. Ordered the guacamole and it had tomatoes and onions but no flavor other that avocados. For the lunch, I ordered the dinner enchiladas. I asked about the sauce and was told that it was a creamy red sauce. When it came, the sauce looked like chili oil. The beef was greasy, the chicken was good and the cheese was ok because a couldn't open the enchilada to get the cheese out from the oil. Overall a bad experience and I'm not planning in going back.
