Where do I start!! First and foremost…The People, The People, The People!! We’ve grown to love so many of the ACA staff over the years, starting with Ms. June and her wonderful attention to detail. I always felt confident when my kids were babies they were getting the most attentive care in her nursery. Ms. Ana has been with Leah and Lily from day one, even coming to the hospital to meet Lily when she was born. Ms. Monica and all her wonderful sayings and songs she has brought to Child’s Academy. The kids still play the “jump up and down” game at our house. Ms. Gail and all her hugs!! (Tell her the Snuggle’s family will miss her). I’m sad Lily won’t be moving up to Ms. Gail & Ms. Sam’s class, they’re the sweetest and Ms. Sam has always helped my children feel safe and comfortable when they’re scared. Ms. Vickie and Ms. Virginia were the most amazing VPK teachers; I brag about the fact that my child could read before the age of 5. I can’t wait for Lily to be in their class when she returns for VPK. But goodness knows it’s going to break Lily’s heart not to see Ms. Kayla every day. Every time we leave the house to come to school in the morning, she’s repeatedly saying “I want my Kayla”. I was very happy when I first came to ACA and Ms. Pat was the director. She came highly recommended, but we’ve been even happier since Ms. Jayme has come and brought all the wonderful changes that have come to be. And all the staff that came with her and since that we’ve had the pleasure to interact with: Aimee; Maria; Merari; Alison; Anna; Kim; Allison; Theresa; Katie; Courtney. They have all made my children’s experience here a positive and loving one. Of course I’m not forgetting Ms. Roberta and all the food she seems to be able to make that my kids love, but won’t touch when we make it. AND to Mr. Joey! Thanks for all you do around there to make it such a fun and safe place for the kids. You’re such a great sport about putting on all the characters for the kids. I know Leah loved it, but can’t really say that Lily did!! As you can tell, we’ve been very happy with the staff here at ACA. One of the main reasons that we choose this school though is because of the reputation for its attention to academic achievement in pre-school development. I can say very confidently that A Child’s Academy has come through there. Both my children have really thrived academically and we have been impressed that by the age of two they we’re both able to recite the Alphabet, count to 20, identify primary colors and know countless adorable songs along with sign language.
My wife Jessica and I have three young daughters, including twins, attending A Child's Academy this summer. Our oldest daughter is 5 turning 6, and the twins are 4 soon to be 5 years old. The staff know our children very well, and not just their respective teachers, but the office staff as well. No business runs 100% smoothly all the time, but we have found ACA to be accommodating and helpful when things are not perfect. Billing inquiries are always met with straightforward assistance, and more importantly, if one or more of our girls are not in the best of moods at drop off, for example, a staff member is there to comfort and encourage them to focus on something positive. If you are looking for a PERFECT daycare, then you will ALWAYS be looking. If, on the other hand, you want to know your children are safe, well cared for, and challenged to progress academically, then ACA represents a great choice. We look forward to our twins attending VPK at ACA this fall.
