I was having some problems with my truck (2007 F-150), related to my transmission, and refused to take it to the dealership since the warranty had expired and their labor fees are through the roof. I was referred to Commonwealth Transmission by a close friend who I rely on for car advice.I spoke to Edgar from Commonwealth Transmission over the phone to explain my issue. He was extremely helpful and very pleasant to speak with. I took my truck to his shop so that he could test-drive the vehicle and determine what was wrong with the transmission. Edgar confirmed that the cause of the problem was due to the torque converter. He took the time to review the year and model of my truck to verify if the issue was reported as common, if there were any recalls on the model regarding the torque converter, confirmed that the warranty was expired before performing any repairs and even took me along during an additional test-drive so that I could review the diagnostic details.Edgar was very patient and worked with my schedule since I live in OC but work in LA. He would stay later for me to get to his shop and even stopped by on a Sunday, when he was closed, just so that I could drop my truck off.The repair was completed promptly and my truck is like new again. The replacement part has a 1 year/12000 mile warranty. I also got a free oil change. The price was unbeatable.Overall, Edgar and his staff were very professional, personable and treated me with sincere respect. I highly recommend them for any vehicle repairs you may need. Their work is very reliable and dependable. I will go back to Commonwealth Transmission for all future concerns and potential repairs. I have been and will highly recommend Edgar and his team to all of my friends and family. I am very happy with their work.

Fullerton Auto Repair Clinic & Body Shop
This shop has had my Honda Civic for over 3 weeks now for a simple engine swap. The first week I called them every day and asked for the status of the new engine that they had ordered and was told every day that it should be arriving that day. At the end of that week I got a phone call telling me that the shop they had purchased the engine from had sold it and they had to find me a new one, which tells me that for every day I called, they didn't contact the shop with my engine. The second week they finally found an engine on Wednesday but didn't put my car on a lift until the following Monday, telling me that my car should be ready by today Friday the 22nd. I called them yesterday (Thursday the 21st) and was told that my car shouldn't be ready until next week. This shop has screwed me over at every turn, I have never dealt with an auto shop with customer service like this and plan on reporting them to the BBB. You only get one star because there isn't an option for no stars. If you want your car back in a timely fashion DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. Update: I received a call on Friday the 22nd at 4:30 telling me my car was ready for pick up, and was able to pick it up on Saturday. The quality of work is good, although I've had to pull a few tags off of new parts that were installed. I was also called every day this week to be asked to take down my reviews.

Fullerton Auto Square
Have been looking for a deal on a tacoma for last 3 weeks and found a couple locally in Fullerton area. Called them to make sure the car was available, it was and a few hours later i had the time to stop by and take a look. It drove well but couldn't see all the details at night. So the salesman let me drive it home and keep it over night! Of course I have full coverage insurance, well after a quick Id check and showing proof of insurance they let me take the Tacoma home for the night! I liked it more driving home and the next morning I got to see all the details of the truck. Besides some cosmetic things (small scratch in back door and a 2 dings) it was right up my ally. So went back and dealt with a finance manager named mike, it was super quick deal! ( they had a paintless person take the dings out) oh btw they beat my credit union by a full percent! Thanks mike for the savings! So saving about 3 grand from going from Fullerton Toyota to Fullerton auto square helped out a lot!

I think this will be the first 5 star review for this dealership so here goes! Came here with a car in mind and wanted a test drive it before I proceeded with any(which there weren't) negotiations. I took it for a drive and felt a lot better about it than most other cars. Felt natural and the pedals weren't too touchy. I worked with Jacob and he was very informative and was really trying to help me out without being pushy and it was very much appreciated. I didn't have enough for a down payment for the out the door price and he even suggested a deposit so they could hold the car for me till I had the rest! It was very cool of him to offer. In the end I didn't go with the deposit, but told him I'd save the money and when I got it I'd give him a call. He was very understanding about the whole thing. Definitely coming back here and if they still have the car I wanted when I have the money then it's meant to be. Over all excellent customer service!

overall i would simply say that fullerton auto square is an okay place to get a car. my gf and i came here to buy a car a month ago and today received a postcard to get free service on it and so we wanted to come on here and review the dealership. the guys were cool and had good finance and terms but if you are comparing it to fletcher jones or high-end shops then it's just okay. there is no free starbucks coffee and no restaurants inside the dealership. they did get us the car we wanted and so for that reason fullerton auto square is probably the best pre-owned cars or best used car dealership in orange county or los angeles areas. we drove from san diego and got a nice deal but again it would have been nice to get free coffee and appetizers also maybe a couple restaurants inside but decent service and a good free coupon for free oil change and tire rotation i guess they are ok.

was looking for a used car and ended up at OC Auto Exchange in Fullerton. The sales guy Ian Stamp, was amazing!!! He wasn't pushy and he took the time to get to know me and what I wanted in a car. He spent time reviewing the car's history with me and walked me through the whole purchase process (from test driving to signing paper work to auto detailing). He even met me at the dealership a couple of times on his day off to help me out with car questions. I would highly recommend buying a car from Ian. He will not stir you wrong. He's punctual, honest and straight forward. The kind of sales guy you want to deal with when making a big purchase like a car. David the manager was great as well. I had some issues with getting my tags and when I went into see him, he got right on the phone and cleared things up for me. I got my tags that day! I love my car and I'm a happy camper!

Everyone has their good and bad experiences at any dealership, that's life in America. I have a busy schedule with work and kids and decided to look online for my car. After finding what I wanted, I called them up got pre approved with a payment I was comfortable with. The day I was ready, I drove after work with my son, Ivan had the car ready for me, we test drove it, inspected it and I was pleased. I traded in my truck, sat down to sign my paperwork and that was it. David was nice and pleasant very professional, but Ivan took care of me like I was his private customer, handling everything for me before I even got there. He took his time searching for different cars for me until I found the one!!! Drove off in my 2011 BMW coupe satisfied. I already made 2 recommendations from 2 friends who asked where I purchased my car.

A week later I noticed that there was a small crack in the center high mount tail light. I was preparing for the worst because its something that I did not address prior to purchasing the vehicle. I was expecting Christian to tell me "No I cannot cover that," but when I called him to see how much it would cost to replace it, he told me he'd find out and call me back. At this point, anyone of you thats been in this same situation would say, "great, they won't call me back." WRONG! He called me back 2 mins later and said, "Scott, we ordered the part for you from Toyota and it will be in first thing tomorrow morning. When can you bring the car in so we can replace it for you?" I stated as a joke, "wait, how much is it?" because the part was going for over $100 -$300 online... BEST PART: He said... "No Charge."

I came here to look at an Audi R8 I saw online through Autotrader. When I arrived, I was told it was at their warehouse and to be shown by appointment only (which they were able to schedule for me immediately). They quickly realized I was serious, and had the car driven to the dealership immediately. After signing for the car, I felt uneasy about one of the documents they had me sign. The owner Mase Aslan went through obstacles to comfort my concerns including calling the Audi dealership for the inspection report they had done months prior. I was convinced that the significant reduction in price was due too most customers having trouble with financing. I got a great deal, and the car is immaculate! I couldn't be more happier. Thanks guys! I will refer you more.

They sold me a nice truck my friends here at Fullerton Auto Square is always very kind to me they had the amps and TVs in it (see picture) I told them if I could keep the amps and TVs in the headrest they said sure, but then I tried to make a deal with them, they said they will have to remove them then because the cost of those is a lot, in the end they still make a great deal with Russard and my family I want to thank the Fullerton Auto Square for being a good dealer if I need anything else I will always come back here, thank you also Saloman for the nice postcard follow up yes we are enjoying the truck very much when the ski season it started we are gonna go in the Big Bears and also Tahoe you guys can come thank you Fullerton Auto Square!
