Carter, Kenny B, MD
Dr. Carter and his team are truly wonderful! I experienced a reaction to a medication the day of my procedure and it was like the entire office was there supporting me. They made me feel like everything was going to be ok and did everything they could to make me comfortable. It passed and I decided to have the procedure (balloon sinusplasty and the Celon method) in the hospital instead of the office simply because i was afraid of another reaction and no other reason. That was an amazing experience and it could not have gone any better. The greatest part of all of this is how incredible I feel now! Dr. Carter changed my life! My nose used to run constantly and I would get chronic sinus infections. Now my nose never runs and I can always fact, I can breathe much better than I ever have in my life. I didn't know that it was possible to breathe this good! It's all opened up and I feel like a new person. Do not hesitate if you have any sort of breathing issues, ear or throat issues (I had all three due to the chronic sinus infections) right now to make an appointment! I am a real patient and was not paid anything to write this. I just want people to know that they do not have to suffer anymore!!! Thank you Dr. Carter...YOU ROCK! :-)

Wang, Paul
Horrible!! .I had labs with abnormal values sit for 3 months and when I had the "nerve" to question them he came in room with a nasty disposition and said he heard I was complaining about no followup on lab results. I explained my concerns and ....he LITERALLY put his finger over his mouth in a gesture that basically told me to shut up!! He then said angrily." I really, really don't like it when you tell me your diagnosis!! Huh???Previously I told him my veteran diagnosed service connected disabled veteran and today I told him my other diagnosis I got last week from specialist to help him! WTH? Been 2 mos with same pain but he won't consider peers diagnosis to see if related. No progress in 2 months. How did he go from my concern re: info on labs to not wanting to know diagnosis of other conditions? What doc says that?? I changed providers after I walked out on. Please read other reviews on and healthgrades!!! Im still in pain 2 months later.

Currently pregnant with my first child, and wasn't too sure about going to a chiropractor, but the staff there was amazing in making me feel welcomed and continue to do so anytime I come in. Great for family and friends, absolutely wouldn't go anywhere else.

Venn Chiropractic and Wellness Center
Dr. Venn is a god send! I have been getting adjusted for 4 years now and I can't believe that I used to just settle for pain in my daily life, never knowing if I was going to wake up feeling bad again. Since I have been getting adjusted, so many aspects of my life have improved. I have chronic allergies, asthma, acid reflux, digestive issues, migraines and more. I was on a ton of medication I could barely afford and I finally reached out to Dr. Venn for his help. I now am on no medication, I haven't used my inhaler in YEARS, headaches are gone and so is the acid reflux! I will be a forever patient and so will my family. Thank you Dr. Venn for all that you do!

Dr. Venn has literally been a God send. He never promised a quick fix, but he promised a plan toward the fix. You get much more than chiropractic care at this office. You get a knowledgable team that cares about you, encourages you and wants to see you well and healthy. Love this place. You should schedule an appointment, you will post a positive review too!

Tips & Advices
Scoliosis is a disorder where the spine curves sideways. Most people develop the condition during the growth spurt before puberty. The cause of scoliosis is unknown and most cases are mild, but the rare severe instances can disable a person.
Orthopedic surgeons attend four years of medical school, then four to five years of orthopedic residency in a hospital. They must also be licensed and certified in orthopedic surgery by the state in which they practice.
The terms "orthopedic doctor" and "orthopedic surgeon" refer to the same profession. Related specialties include podiatrist, a doctor who works with the bones, tendons and ligaments in the feet, and a sports medicine physician, a doctor specially trained to treat athletes.
The cost of a visit to an orthopedic surgeon depends on the type of tests ordered and treatment given. For example, an MRI costs $500-$1,300. An initial consultation costs $100- $500, while anesthesia for a procedure generally ranges from $2,000-$4,000. Overall, an orthopedic surgery can cost anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000.
During a consultation or first appointment with an orthopedic surgeon, the practitioner will ask the patient a variety of questions to understand the situation. The surgeon might ask about the patient's pain levels, medical history, and any prior injuries. Then, the surgeon will administer a physical exam and possibly schedule tests to better understand the problem. Possible tests include a stress test, x-ray, or MRI.
