Dr. Thomas H Tran
I broke my foot the day before New Year' eve. I called & left several messages to difference doctors offices. None of others office returned my call, but only Dr. Thomas Tran's. He asked me to come in the next morning (on New year's eve). The office was supposed to close but he's willing to see me because he does not want his patient to live with pain. He took X-rays, & treated the fracture of my foot & gave prescription to help with my pain. It could be worst if Dr. Tran did not see me the next day I injured my foot. My pain was gone. I was able to enjoy my New Year day with my kids, & my family. Thanks to Dr. Tran, & his compassion for his patients. I know from now, my families, & my friends will only go to him if we ever have any foot & ankles problems.

Dr. Thomas H Tran
Took my 11 year old son to see Dr. Tran after hurting his foot on a trampoline over the weekend. His staff excellent and got us in first thing Monday morning. X-Ray diagnosed the problem and Dr. Tran fitted him with a boot so he could get back to school without any pain. He also determined that my son had supination which can cause further complications and pain as he gets older. I had noticed that his feet turned inward when he walked, but had never been told by his primary physician that this was a problem. Now with custom made orthotics, he will not have to deal with a lifetime of foot pain. Follow-up appointments were easy to fit into our busy schedule. Dr. Tran and his staff are so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend him.
Tips & Advices
Examples of podiatric specialties include orthopedics, primary care, sports medicine, surgery, podopediatrics, and wound care and management.
Podiatrists can perform surgery on the foot, ankle, and related lower extremity structures. These procedures can range from noninvasive to reconstructive.
Podiatrists can provide stem cell therapy, custom orthotics, foot and ankle surgery, and treatment for toenail fungus, common foot issues, and ingrown nails, among many other services.
Every visit with a podiatrist varies depending on the condition and the amount of discussion and treatment necessary. Initial appointments can last up to 45 minutes, while subsequent routine meetings take at least 30 minutes.
In most cases, foot and ankle services that podiatrists provide are covered by health insurance. Not all podiatrists participate in all health insurance plans, however. Consult your specific coverage to better understand its podiatry offerings.
