PrimaCare Medical Center
Everyone was kind and I appreciate the great care I received. Being able to have some place to go other than my PCP is nice. I will be back to PrimaCare.

Family Urgent Care PLUS
I went in in a Sunday with severe knee pain .waited less than 10 minutes to be called in , I was even offered a wheel chair and immediately taken to x rays room . Afterwards I was taken to the examination room where a nurse practitioner brought the results of x rays, carefully examined my knee and recommend several treatment options .All the staff were extremely nice friendly professional and efficient: no time lost at all ! They even gave me a discount card to use at the pharmacy. I was very impressed with the environment. And very pleased with the kindness of the people handling my problem. I will definitely recommend the place , and use it again if needed ! Thank you all for a job well done !

Family Urgent Care PLUS
Our family seems to move out-of-state every 2 - 4 years so we rely on walk in clinics quite a bit. We actually used a different facility at first but when my husband became very sick on Christmas Eve, we found this facility and from that day forward, we haven't looked back. The staff was, and continues to be, very patient, accommodating, professional and yet very empathetic all at the same time. Also, since we haven't been here too long, if a diagnosis requires a follow up beyond their scope, the staff always provides recommendations for us.Highly recommended by this reviewer

Family Urgent Care PLUS
I called other urgent cares to see what kind of wait they had and they were so rude to me on the phone. When I came to this one, everyone was so sweet. I was seen immediately by the Dr and I was out of there so quickly. Great experience

Tips & Advices
Under most health insurance plans, urgent care visits will require a copay that is usually less expensive than emergency room visits, but more expensive than standard doctor visits - around $120 on average. Urgent care staff do not have much information regarding individual coverage, so be prepared and check with your insurance provider to understand costs.
It is common for urgent care physicians to recommend follow-up treatment after an initial visit. Most commonly, patients will be asked to return to the clinic or their primary care doctor if symptoms get worse or do not improve in a certain amount of time. Patients might be referred to a specialist for treatment of more complex conditions. Or patients may simply be given a few basic tips for recovering at home. In any case, patients should follow the doctor’s advice regarding next treatment steps.
If needed, urgent care doctors can prescribe medication to treat conditions. This may include antibiotics for an infection or pain medication for a broken bone. Be sure to follow the doctor’s instructions for taking these medicines.
Be sure to explain your symptoms to physicians in as much detail as possible. Note when or where the symptoms first appeared if possible. Inform urgent care staff of any medical conditions you may have, all allergies, and all medications you are currently taking. Also be sure to bring proper forms of identification, and any health insurance cards/information to help process your visit.
You should be able to find a 24-hour urgent care clinic by searching online resources such as Be sure the location is included in your health plan network before visiting.
