North Fresno Family Health
Julie the NP was great spends time with her patients ad really listens to them and is so sweet. The bad thing is you don't see Julie first, just like any other place you see the front office staff first. They act as if you bother them when you walk in no one says hello they don't even remember my name and I have been a patient with Julie for years. Before The office moved locations it was great. Deb, Chris, Gail, and Julie were so friendly and always took time to listen they treated you like family. Yes I'll admit at times they bickered quietly behind doors but they cared about their patients and each other. The office manager Sam is rude cuts you off when your talking will be playing with his phone when asking a question and when he does acknowledge you he looks thru you not at you, I have grave concerns about his ability to function at work either due to life or medications he had made several mistakes that if not caught could have been dangerous. I think until the old staff returns me a my family will be looking or a different office to get our health care needs met. I suggestion the same for others. First impressions are key and I used to have a great one now it's very saddening.

Saint Agnes Medical Center
The good side is that my wife has received excellent care from the specialists who removed her gall bladder. The quality care from the staff afterwards was also comforting. The down side was the horrific waiting of almost 5 hrs. in the emergency dept. Granted it was extremely busy but my wife was the loudest person screaming in excruciating pain and I learned that you are treated on a first come first served basis regardless of pain level and I was wrong in calling 911 thinking she would have priority. They didn't even take anyone's vitals after two hours. But we still highly recommend all their other service areas.

Willow Urgent Care
I went to Willow Urgent Care to be seen for a possible UTI. I was told by a nurse practitioner that I did not have a UTI but that my symptoms were being caused by "out of control diabetes". (I was formerly pre-diabetic, but have had blood sugar levels in the normal range for over a year.) After being examined elsewhere, it turned out that I DID have a UTI, along with a normal blood sugar level. Be cautious about using this facility.

Willow Urgent Care
I came here after a horrible experience ad the 24/7 clinic on Fresno Street and found my new doctor. Dr. Hanson was knowledgeable and direct. The pricing was fair, and I was treated with little delay. Highly recommend, and when sick again I will definately return.

Premium Urgent Care
The staff here was very friendly, professional, and very helpful. They don't overwhelm you with paperwork on your first visit. The doctor saw me quickly and worked with me to find the best solution for the medical problem I had on that visit.

Premium Urgent Care
I went in with a hand injury and Dr. Klug and the nurse stitched me up and took very good care of me. His whole staff was professional and caring. I would definitely go back to this urgent care in the future.

Tips & Advices
Under most health insurance plans, urgent care visits will require a copay that is usually less expensive than emergency room visits, but more expensive than standard doctor visits - around $120 on average. Urgent care staff do not have much information regarding individual coverage, so be prepared and check with your insurance provider to understand costs.
It is common for urgent care physicians to recommend follow-up treatment after an initial visit. Most commonly, patients will be asked to return to the clinic or their primary care doctor if symptoms get worse or do not improve in a certain amount of time. Patients might be referred to a specialist for treatment of more complex conditions. Or patients may simply be given a few basic tips for recovering at home. In any case, patients should follow the doctor’s advice regarding next treatment steps.
If needed, urgent care doctors can prescribe medication to treat conditions. This may include antibiotics for an infection or pain medication for a broken bone. Be sure to follow the doctor’s instructions for taking these medicines.
Be sure to explain your symptoms to physicians in as much detail as possible. Note when or where the symptoms first appeared if possible. Inform urgent care staff of any medical conditions you may have, all allergies, and all medications you are currently taking. Also be sure to bring proper forms of identification, and any health insurance cards/information to help process your visit.
You should be able to find a 24-hour urgent care clinic by searching online resources such as yellowpages.com. Be sure the location is included in your health plan network before visiting.
