Ziyar Latif MD Inc
Very very knowledgeable psychiatrist practicing in the town. He has an extensive knowledge of various psychiatric disorders. And treats them in a very professional way. He has a vast experience in this field. And the way he talks to his patients is phenomenal.

Baker, Dr. Ziyar did the right thing, you were under his care and you probably moved to another state, or told the doctor that you wanted to switch doctor, you terminated treatment, he did the right thing not continuing care for you any more.

Seems like a good doctor, but actually only cares about the patients that put money in his pockets. I recently moved out of state, and needed him to call in another month's prescription to get me through until my appointment with my new doctor in three weeks. He refused to call in an extra month, even though I've been on this medication regularly with no problems, and it is dangerous to stop taking suddenly without weaning off. He said that I'm no longer his patient and he wouldn't do it. Don't ever go to him! Find a doctor who actually cares about his patients' well-being!

Middleton John MD
Awesome Dr., cares, listens, spends a lot of time making sure my meds were working and helped me put together a team to take over if I start on a manic trip or depression that lasts too long. I have Bipolar 1 and just found out when I was 55. I wasn't happy with my previous psychiatrist and started working with Dr. Middleton about 5 years ago. I'm grateful to have him and his NP Lily on my team.

House Matthew DO
so this is my story..I have been a patient of Dr. Matthew house for eight years. I have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and have been taking medication for about 7 years. I recently decided I was ready to come off of decision I ever made. I visited with my doctor for about 5min and told him my decision, I left and that was that (no discussion about any withdraw symptoms). About a week after I started having severe withdraw symptoms ( I only know they are withdraw symptoms from looking it up online) I desperately tried to get a hold of my doctor. I called and asked to speak to my doctor or to leave a message and was told I could not and would need to come in to discuss withdraw symptoms ( the next apt was a week away). I told them I was not okay and needed at least a phone call because I was at a VERY low point...I was in tears on the phone. I eventually hung up, as I was getting nowhere....I received no call back...a day later I decided to call again..I left a message stating I needed to speak to the doctor I received a call back from the receptionist about my refill request?? I have no idea how they got that from my message, regardless I attempted to call back yet I could get a hold of no one (during business hours) I decided to call the emergency number...only to find it is disconnected....I left one more message and have yet to hear back...So that is my story...luckily I have been able to find information about dealing with symptoms and am doing much better....I am writing this not because I am just mad but because I am EXTREMLY concerned for ANY patients under this doctors care...Had I reached a point where I was having suicidal thoughts or other negative thoughts I would not get any care from them and I am thankful that that did not happen...I am afraid to think of what would happen if it did.....I am very afraid that someone is going to get hurt due to the treatment or lack of....and what scares me the most is that this man treats children....that scares me very much...I highly recommend NO ONE put their mental health or the mental health of their child in this mans care...

Office help is poor in answering calls and returning calls. They will push you to their nurse practitioner as much as possible. I ran out of a much need prescription because I could not get ahold of anyone for over a week. My Primary had to bail me out.
Tips & Advices
A child psychiatrist is a medical doctor who specializes in issues that affect the mental and emotional health of children and teens. Child psychiatrists can provide treatment for children and teenagers who suffer from depression, autism, anxiety disorders, attention disorders, drug addictions, eating disorders, mood disorders, and a wide range of behavioral problems.
Psychiatrists typically ask questions that focus  on the issues that are having a negative effect on your life. In an initial visit with a psychiatrist, you may be asked about symptoms you've experienced, and ways in which you've tried to deal with them. You might be asked about current and past medical conditions, as well asa family health history.
A referral is an authorization from your doctor saying that a certain type of treatment is medically necessary, and it's usually required if you want your insurance company to cover the costs associated with a visit to a psychiatrist. If you don't have insurance, a referral is not required to schedule a psychiatrist visit.
Psychiatrists and psychologists sometimes collaborate, and this typically takes place when working with patients who have serious mental health problems. In cases like this, a psychologist will treat the patient from a behavioral perspective. A psychiatrist will complement this treatment with care that handles issues concerning biology, neurology, and the prescription of drugs.
Many psychiatrists specialize in treating certain conditions. Some psychiatrists focus on substance abuse therapy, and this is the treatment of addiction to substances like alcohol, narcotics, and tobacco. Others specialize in biological psychiatry, which is the treatment of brain chemistry disorders like depression and schizophrenia. Psychiatrists might also specialize in treating elderly patients or children and adolescents.
