Whitie's Pets
On May 19, 2017 I when to Whittie's Pet, Fresno , Ca. to purchase series of shots for my puppy. The girl gave me 3 identical shots. The following day I was ready to apply shots , I realized that she had given me 3 identical shots ( Univac 5 ) this was UNACCEPTABLE!! Therefore that Saturday returned to Whittie's Pet to correct problem , the cashier called her managerManage refused to correct the problem her employee had made I would have been pleased if she gave me the 2 correct shot , end of story . The manager refused to accept responsibility for her employee's mistake.I was very disappointed with her response !!!Unhappy CustomerD. Perez

Regarding Saltwater Section-The saltwater section is what is to be expected of a larger chain store, a little on the dirtier side with less specialized selections of lifestock, but lots to chose from. They do have some of the better prices in town however and have a large selection of Aquarium husbandry equipment for purchase that is hard to find at any other LFS.If they didn't have as much as they do I would rate lower, but because of the sheer size of the store and the amount going on within I feel they are middle ground for a pet store.

I really enjoy taking Sparky into PETCO. Most of the workers remember Sparky and treat us very well.
Tips & Advices
Pet owners usually sign a waiver stating that any injury or illness a dog suffers while at daycare is the responsibility of the owner. However, most facilities carry liability insurance and pet business insurance in the event of a serious incident. To prevent illness, facilities are strict about requiring proof of vaccination and general health from a veterinarian prior to accepting a dog. However, in an off-leash setting, scuffles or fights might occur. Reputable facilities will often hire vet assistants who can treat minor injuries and under-the-weather dogs.  For anything more serious, a good daycare should make it a priority to get the dog to a vet, and get in immediate contact with the owner.
