YUCKY POOL, ASSIGNED PARKING GETTING TAKEN, BASIC CARPET, UGLY KITCHEN, OLD APPLIANCES, AND THEY SAY THEY ARE CHEAP COMPARED TO OTHERS??? ANOTHER BULLSH*T!!! TENATS HERE NEED TO LEAVE! AS WHAT WE ARE DOING RIGHT OF THIS MOMENT, LOOKING FOR A NICER APARTMENT THAT DON'T INCREAE THEIR RENT AS OFTEN AAS THESE MORONS ARE DOING! DO THE OWNERS KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON???? OR ARE THEY A PART OF THIS SCHEME!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

WARNING WARNING WARNING This office staff is slick with the application process. They will tell you that you have been approved and promise you certain rental terms, then they will deny the rental terms they previously promised and charge you more money just as you get ready to sign your lease. This happened to me:In the 3rd week in December 2016, I was in need of an apartment due to out of town work. I decided on Sierra Meadows Apartments since it was close to work. To make a long story short, I completed the application and received notice by email of my application approval based on my credit report. In addition the approval letter listed the amount to be paid on move in date. A week later and despite the rental terms already being set, I received a call from the office manager who stated that I would have to pay more money in a security deposit due to “owing a balance on debt.” First of all they already checked my credit and decided on the rental terms. Second, my credit report had no such balance on any debt. When I brought this to their attention they refused to acknowledge that I was right and they were wrong. Instead the office manger’s attitude was very unprofessional, dismissive, and disrespectful. I mean she tried to talk to me like I was a child, which did not go over well with me. The incompetence she displayed was disturbing and embarrassing to say the lease. At this point I could just pay the extra security deposit and move on, but it was about the principle. Also, I know that once a person extorts you for money they will keep on till they drain you dry. I know that I was not ever going to get the extra security deposit back because they would have found a way to take it. Therefore it was better to look elsewhere despite now having an inquiry on my credit report. I ended up finding a much better place for less money, this is karma.One last thought:Corporations such as Sierra Meadows make a living out of profiting off the misfortunes of others, which is why they hire certain office managers who will achieve this mandate. The mandate for Sierra Meadow’s is to find fault in an applicant with a good credit score. They will cherry pick their credit history in order to maximize profit. However the scam comes when they exploit your situation for financial gain. Shame on you Sierra Meadows
I've lived here for 5 years & Bullard West apartments used to be a very nice, well kept and friendly environment. Mel, our old manager knew everyone and was an experienced manager. With new management coming in within the last year or so the community has gone down hill. Where there used to be flower beds, there are now dry bushes and loose dirt, people have been moving in & out like crazy no tenant retention, there is absolutely no parking for your guests now and if they try to park in your area they get towed immediately with no warning knowing that it's in your area, the security guard kicks everyone out of the pool at 7pm in the middle of summer per new management's request (it's not even dark out at 7), the gardeners and tree trimmers leave a mess when they come, you can easily go outside and trip on branches when they've been here. I can go on and on. I would not recommend this place to anyone, needless to say they will be losing a 5 year tenant within these next few months.
Ive lived here for over 4 years. There are good and bad things about this place just like any other. When i first moved in the management was lazy and never got anything fixed. They have new management now and they actually fix things in a timely manner which is nice because most apartments take forever to fix anything at all. They have a year lease option which is nice and the rent doesn't go up at all if you keep renewing the year lease.A few bad things are that the area has gotten a bit "sketchy" No area in the world is safe from burglary but this place has gotten a bit bad. cars get broken into very often, mail got stolen, clothes in laundry have been stolen, items off of balconies have gone missing, and you kinda know its time to go when you see police helicopters hovering around with the light shinning down looking for suspects. It doesn't happen often but even a few times is too much for me. Also there are bedbugs here. Lots of units here have had them, its not uncommon for the managers to hear about it. But as I said before they fix problems quickly here. So if you do happen to get them they will call someone out within a few days to spray. I just think its a bit odd that they don't tell residents here about it and have everyone aware of a rising problem in the city. I guess are trying to keep it hush hush so people wont move out. At least they fix the problem fast, but still I wouldn't want to move into a complex that has had multiple bed bug problems.
