Miranda, Raymond C, MD
Not only is he knowledgeable in pediatrics, he really goes out of his way to make sure your child is healthy. I had a situation of which another doctor just didn’t care that my child was underweight although I was very concerned. I had never had a child so thin. A friend of mine who was a Biology Technician recommended Dr. Miranda – this was the best day of my life! He sent my child to different specialist (just to make sure she was ok) and turns out – yes she is ok – she was gifted by God of NOT having my slow metabolism hahaha Dr. Miranda takes his time with patience and is very personable! I even had a complaint of (which was no reflection of him) and he listened and made it very clear that he appreciated my input but he was more than willing to resolve the issue! I love this man, not only as a doctor but as a human being. My daughter and son both adore him and are always very excited to go to a doctor’s appointment (even if they are sick lol) just to see him and his friendly assistants!

As I write this, he's rated as only 2.5 / 5 stars. A vote of four, with a review, and an empty 1-star review. I think he ticked someone off.I'm 22, been going to him since 20 (I feel so out of place, the waiting room is always full of much much older people)Dr. Salazar is not for everyone, in fact he's told us stories about how some patients react to him. He has a way of going about things, and you have to be honest with him. No drug-seekers or other fakers will be able to sucker him out of a prescription.I'm not cured, but my medical problems will likely life long. What he DOES do for me though, is keep on trying various tactics and is extremely friendly (and funny) on all our visits.I was suffering from a new morphine pump, and I called him up at 9 PM and he told me to meet him in his parking lot. Slept alot better that night since he was able to turn my rate of dosing down.

Central Valley Women's Health Associates
I have nothing but great things to say about this office. Dr. Mason is a true professional. He has always given me the time and attention that I require. I have been experiencing some very scary and abnormal symptoms for a person my age. Dr. Mason has done everything in his power to make me feel calm and reassured that everything is going to be ok. Several women in my family are also patients of Dr. Mason and they too have nothing but great things to say about him. The office is always clean, quiet and comfortable. The equipment is up to date. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I do have to wait in the waiting room for up to 30 minutes sometimes, but the wait is absolutely worth it when you are receiving the level of care that this office provides. I highly recommend Central Valley Women's Health Associates to anyone reading this.

I have been coming here for years. I had Dr. Kalmakarian, Dr. John Cox and Dr. Salazar. Doc Salazar is sweet and charming. He is very kind and considerate. When I go in for shots in my neck, he greets me with a song and makes me smile. His nurses are funny and warm and the anesthesiologists are great! I have been coming for years... (15) or so. No they haven't cured me. They are pain management! That's what they do. They make it so my life is a bit more tolerable and my pain is at as minimal as possible. John Cox is kind and honest. I see him for my check ups. No drug seekers! He will spot them! I trust him completely. Anyway, don't know what that one star was about...maybe searching for something in the wrong place...? Yes sometimes there is a long wait. They try and squeeze us all in. Oh well.

Allende Diego DO
I went to Dr. Diego and his staff for the HCG weight loss program after I had my second daughter. I went from 240 lbs down to 155 lbs. I can honestly say that the program works and I was satisfied with my results. I wanted to go back but they raised the prices which I don't understand because $ 130.00 and $30.00 weekly sounds a little pricey for the average population but to go even higher is like saying you only want to help people lose weight who can afford to pay. Raising the prices when your already working as a cosmetic surgeon is like saying it's not about helping the people, it's about making more money. I'm not bashing them, they are very professional and the office staff was very polite to me. Thats the only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 but I could be wrong.

I have been with Dr. Salazar since he took over for Dr. Kalmakarian. And since Dr. Salazar has been seeing me I have had a pain pump in for my lower back. Since every doctor I have seen prior have told me that there was nothing wrong with my back other than degenerative deterioration and there was nothing anyone could do other than give me pain pills. Dr. Salazar suggested that a pain pump be placed inside me without the side effects of medication. His staff are the best I have ever seen in a doctor's office. They are always smiling and seem to enjoy their job. Dr. Salazar is the happiest man I have ever seen

Stewart W Mason Md Inc.
Dr Mason and Dr Nix have been the most caring doctors I have ever had. Dr Nix helped my husband and I get pregnant after trying on our own for over 7 years. Dr Mason fully explained all the changes that were going to take place in my body during the pregnancy. He was very reassuring about any and all little aches and pains that I had. He truly made this first time mom feel calm and happy all through out my pregnancy. I had my baby boy in July of 2011 I will be recommending his office to everyone. And when we are ready to try for our second child we will definitely be going back to his office.

Constantz, Nicole M
Over the past 3 weeks, my wife and I have both had consultations with Dr. Constantz--and she's amazing. I wish we'd have met her years (decades) earlier. She's extremely personable, professional and knowledgeable--and patient! We both brought up several issues and Dr. Constantz was familiar with all of them and knew the conditions, symptoms, possible treatments or medicines--all effortlessly, seemingly right off the top of her head. But best of all, for me, was how she put us both at ease.I've not been very happy with medical care the past decade or so but Dr. Constantz is great.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
