DO NOT PURCHASE FLOWERS FROM THIS HORRIBLE BUSINESS!I truly believe the majority of the 5 star ratings are FAKE. I’ll try to make this brief. We ordered flowers online for Valentine’s Day for my daughter. We gave specific instructions online for it to be delivered before noon. By 3:00 no flowers! After two phone inquiries by me, and another call by my partner, we were told that we didn’t specify a time for delivery on the order (A LIE) and that it would now be delivered sometime before 5:00! We told them my daughter was leaving her office at 4:30! By 4:30 my partner called again to inquire and was told they had not even started making the arrangement!! (ANOTHER LIE?) My partner then cancelled the order because, obviously, these people were incompetent… and by this time we could just pick up something on the way home! I then called to tell them that they could redeem themselves if they could make up a nice arrangement right then and that I would just come by and pick it up. The extremely rude girl on the phone told me they had just “given away” my arrangement (that supposedly had NOT been made yet) to someone else!! (WHAT??! ANOTHER LIE?) When I called her out for telling my partner and I two completely different stories she proceeded to tell me they were so busy and that is why they had to give my (supposedly not made yet) arrangement to someone else! (WHAT?! LIES, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND MORE LIES!!) All the while she kept reminding me that WE had cancelled the order (AFTER we were told it had not even been made yet!) .When another person also gave these people a bad review the business responded with a VERY CHILDISH and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL tirade that included personal attacks on the customer’s finances and situation, not to mention numerous misspelled words!! Apparently they are also lacking in basic education. No doubt they will respond in a similar fashion to my review, but BOTTOM LINE…THERE ARE NO WORDS THAT CAN EXCUSE THE EXTREMELY POOR BEHAVIOR OR THE EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Conroy's Flowers
Its the day after valentines and My wife never recieved her flowers or chocolate covered strawberries, but I sit here with a reciept that shows I paid for them. I contacted the store to speak to a manager and was spoken very rude to and unprofesional to by "messenger". I would hope someone would respond right away. This is ridiculous that I paid for something, never got it and I cant even speak to a manager to resolve this issue.

Conroy's Flowers
If I could give a no star rating I would. DO NOT USE Conroy's on West ShawThis place absolutely ruined our valentine's day. At 10am on V-day my GF was called to confirm the location for the delivery which takes the surprise out of the whole thing!! but that is not the kicker. She confirmed the location and was promised a call back. At 3:00 when she was leaving work she called them due to no phone call. They again said they would call back. I called at 3:30 and changed the delivery to come to the house and asked that I get an ETA. Without boring you with the details no calls back, I had to call them back multiple times and every time was promised a call back with an ETA. Well, it became extremely important to get the time as dinner reservation time was imminent. I called them back again and they could not give me a time. 8 phone calls over 2 hours and no calls back, no flowers, no chocolates, no balloons and no teddy bear. I had to cancel the order which the manager was all too happy to do instead of trying to get my delivery to me.DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE!! YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER MAY BE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!

Tips & Advices
Making the trip to your local florist means you can actually get the chance to stop and smell the roses. But the hours they are open can be more restrictive.
Online flower shops, work with wholesale florists near your area to ensure they deliver your order promptly. Since cut flowers don't have a long shelf life, these Internet-based companies take your request and contract it out to a florist in your locale to design it and drop it off at your home or office. While purchasing flowers online is convenient - there are a few things the online stores cannot offer patrons. You can't smell the fragrance of flowers and you can't touch the petals or leaves before you buy the plant. Additionally, when you buy a bouquet over the Internet, you're basing your decision on a stock photo of the item instead of the actual one that will arrive at your doorstep.
Yes. These experts can tell you the best ways to take care of your plants or how to properly cut the stems of flowers to ensure they last longer in your vase. Ask them vase to use with which flower and how much water and plant food you should use to prolong the life of your bouquet or potted plant. Even though retail florists don't usually grow the blooms or plants themselves, they do know the best ways to keep your arrangement looking fresh for longer.
Flowers, especially the lotus, figure prominently in Hindu and Buddhist religious ceremonies, as well as in these two ancient religions' wedding customs. Many florists provide garlands of flowers to decorate and festoon the functions with.
Lilies, as well as daffodils and tulips, are especially popular around these spring holidays.
