Safeway Motors
Walked onto Sean's lot, on a Sunday evening ... just to see the cars ... was looking for a car but had not decided if I wanted New or Used but I've always had great experiences with purchasing Used vehicles ... much to my surprise, Sean had just stopped by the lot to finish up a couple of contracts he was working on and from the moment he said, "Hello," he was all about honesty and courtesy ... long story short, Sean was able to get me into a great car, one of my friends came in the next day and they bought a car ... Sean is a genuine, good guy - honest and trustworthy all the way ... I highly recommend seeing Sean to buy your next car New or Used.

Clawson Truck Center
I bought a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee from them. I spoke with David who sold me the car and Tito who worked with our loan. They Said the car was honda inspected and passed blah blah blah. Ever since I got the car it's been nothing but problems. The first day transmission is slipping and sensors going off. Took over 1 week for someone to call us back. There was Electrical, transmission, and a.c. unit, sensors, and steering issues. Deductible is 100 each time we bring it in for "checkup". I told them I did not want to pay deductible for the car. I told them I just got the car and the same day we got the car it was having problems. Tito says well you bought warranty for it. So what? I don't want to pay nothing. You sold us a messed up car. As if it was ok just because I bought warranty everything is ok? You sold me a messed up car and all you can say is you have warranty. Not my problem kinda of attitude. I checked my warranty I bought from them. Turned out the coverage we thought we got wasn't the same one we negotiated for. I negotiated for a longer warranty but they made it only one year because they lower our payments while cutting our warranty. I decided to not go back to Honda. What else will Honda pull? I don't not trust them anymore. Overall I'd like to see more honesty and integrity from this place but its too late. It was our fault for trusting them. don't trust them. David and tito are there for a check. Not to help people. They'll even give you a I sell cars to my family and they'll gloat how they're good honest people. They are sales people not your friend or family. Reread your contracts before signing they will flip on you and negotiate your warrenty coverage into the final loan. Be careful and re-read before signing. Don't be dreamwashed. "Eager to sign the contract". Now I'm looking for a trustworthy dealership to take this "certified inspected" car to fix. Don't shop at this place. They will sell you a unsafe car.

Auto College
We were looking around for a newer vehicle and stopped by Auto College and met Al. He is so knowledgeable and explained every single detail of technical aspects of diverse vehicles he had at his dealership. When we decided to buy a vehicle he made the process so smooth and hassle-free, Al made everything so convenient for us. We highly recommend Al Nasrolli to all who are looking for a vehicle. We will certainly go back to him im future.

Showcase Luxury
One of this dealership's sales tactics is to tell their customers that CA law mandates that they offer a 30-day warranty on all of their cars, even those sold 'As-is'. Of course, when the check engine light came on the very next day after purchase, and it turned out that the catalytic converter was faulty, they disclaimed the warranty. While it turns out a state law does mandate a 30-day warranty, the law only applies to certain types of dealerships, and Showcase is not one of them. They are aware of this, and are intentionally deceiving their customers. Look at the complaints page of their BBB profile for more details. This dealer is the very embodiment of the classical negative stereotype of a shady car dealership. I strongly urge anyone and everyone to stay far away.

CarMax
I purchased a 2013 Mini Cooper S Clubman from Lily who could clearly answer questions about the car and sociable during all phases of my purchase. Two minor warrantee items were promptly taken care of my Nikki and Josh Service Mangers. The were extremely helpful and most friendly. This was totally perfect purchase experience and the car is in terrific condition. Highly recommended. Ken Robertson

Cars 4 You
I would never buy another car from here. I bought a 2002 chevy venture for my family of six. When I test drove it was shaking and the battery died. They promised to fix it and they did somewhat. The car was shaking a lot less then before and I was told that was from old age and the battery was "new". I asked if I had anything to worry about because I didn't want to buy anything I would have to put a lot of $ into cause I have 4 kids. They told me it was a good van at a good price. I only drove the van for 2 months and I had to replace the battery for 130 get and oil change and transmission pan drop for another 200 and now the transmission is slipping and the heat gauge is rising and the service tract system abs and check engine light are on. So I went In pleading with the owner if they can have their mechanic work on it so it wouldn't be so expensive or let me trade it in even if I have to make payments on another car and he refused to work with me he said he couldn't predict the future and legally he doesn't have to do anything and now he knows how messed up the van is he didn't want that headache. Even if its legal thats just wrong to screw people out of their hard earned $ and sell a car that they can't even use for 6 months. I told him if you would have said that this was even a possibility I would have never bought the van. He said I made 250 off the van I sold you, you can take that. He kept talking about how he was at a loss and never tried to empathize with us and help us get a working car. Buyer be ware this place is not where you want to buy from. Even if you make payments he only offers a 30 day warranty so I would have ended up in this situation no matter what. Worst part is im in training for a new job and I am required to attend a certain amount of weeks and I have to quit because I do not have transportation. I could take the bus but I drop my kids off to my mother in law out in the country and the closest drop off is a few miles from her house.

Herndon Auto Service-Fresno
SUPERIOR MECHANIC WORK & VERY COMPETITIVE PRICES AT HERNDON AUTO SERVICE IN FRESNO:[SPECIALIZING IN MERCEDES BENZ]On May 8, 2017, I brought my Mercedes Benz 300E 2.6 to Herndon Auto Service located on Herndon & Maroa due to the engine light turning red during the weekend and the warning light activated which warned me that some lights needed to be replaced. I contacted Ricky Altero, the owner, on Saturday, May 6, 2017 regarding all these issues. Ricky answered his cell phone during the weekend and guaranteed me that he would provide me with his own truck during the time that my vehicle would be in his shop for repairs. When I arrived on Monday morning to bring in my vehicle, Ricky had his truck parked and ready for me to take. There have been numerous times throughout the years that Ricky has even loaned me his own sports Mercedes Benz when my vehicle has needed repair work.Arturo Alvarez, the top technician and supervisor from Herndon Auto Service, was honest and sincere with me and immediately informed me that he would replace my Engine Codes 16 EGR and Vacuum Change over-valve. Arturo Alvarez even cleaned the EGR pipe which required an additional hour of labor but didn’t charge me for this additional hour. How many dealerships would perform extra work at no cost like Herndon Auto Service? Also, both Arturo and Ricky exhibited extreme care and cleanliness to my vehicle which has been regarded for so many people throughout Fresno as one of the cleanest Mercedes Benz they have ever seen. I highly recommend Herndon Auto Service, because they take pride in all of their work, have very competitive prices, and take care of matters in a very professional and timely manner. Every single time that I have brought my vehicle to Herndon Auto Service, I feel like I am treated by Ricky Altero, Arturo Alvarez, and all the technicians as a VIP.I will continually take my Mercedes Benz to your # 1 DEALERSHIP IN FRESNO: (559)-431-3556!!!!!Donald Rotella
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
