YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Bordering on the CBD (Central business district) and the French Quarter, made it a great location for business & pleasure! I was able to walk to an interview and all around the Quarter. The rooms were a good size- much bigger than some of the older hotels around. The beds appeared to be quite new and were very comfortable. One small room key problem was resolved very quickly by the friendly front desk staff. Roomservice was very quick but pricey - (Domino's is only 2 blocks away & delivers just as quickly) \r \r I went to college in NO, so I knew what I was getting into. This area of Canal St. is generally a very safe area to be in & walk around. The constant foot traffic between Harrah's, the hotels and the quarter makes it so. (Remember empty streets = not safe at night!) \r \r Check out Remoulade's on Bourbon street for a casual meal. It shares some menu items and part of the kitchen with pricey Arnaud's right around the corner! If you like burgers--- don't miss Port of Call on Esplanade!

A not-to-be missed music experience in NOLA! I recommend buying tickets in advance so that you're guaranteed a spot in this very tiny music venue. It's hot, it's crowded, but the music you'll hear from some of the best jazz artists in the city is unforgettable.

This past week I stayed at the Doubletree for 3 days and 4 nights. I must say I was a little skeptical about the hotel but to my surprise it was actually pretty nice. Granite the room was not “Spic and Span” but overall there had been some care put into cleaning the room. Upon my arrival I was welcomed by Jake who was very friendly and helpful when it came to the city. He provided me with very useful information regarding restaurants, tours and directions. Each time I saw Jake he spoke and referred to me as "friend," which is always made me feel welcomed and part of the city. The front desk clerks, Dominique and Percy were very friendly and helpful as well. If I ever return to the city I will definitely be staying at the Doubletree again. This location was in a prime spot for all the attractions. It was right across the street from Harrah’s Casino, a few blocks from the Riverwalk and Bourbon St.

My wedding is not until September, however, I had my bridal portraits taken there yesterday. Myself, my mother, my photographer, and my friends were so impressed with how we were treated yesterday I was compelled to write a review now. The professionalism, accomodation, kindness, and teamwork of Mary and her ENTIRE staff was exceptional. This venue is a value, but being able to walk out of there yesterday knowing that I can enjoy my big day and not have a care in the world is absolutely PRICELESS. I am confident that every detail will be carried out flawlessly. Mary, I am honored to have you and your team be a part of my big day, I cannot wait! If you are considering a New Orleans wedding you must consider the Riverview Room, I assure you will not regret it. Sincerely, M Chaisson (French Settlement, LA)

If you love the true French Quarter flavor or want to experience it for the first time, then this is a must. Anytime the sun is shining I get "Pat O" fever. The open air court yard is absolutly beauuuutiful! It will bring you back to another place and time. The fried shrimp is melt in your mouth delicious. The staff is always exceptional, welcoming and friendly. Of course, you have to try a traditional Pat O Hurricaine while you are there. But be careful, only one, that's all you need. This is my all time favorite fun, fun, fun resturant. Love, Love, Love this 'have to go to' place!!!

Not the poshest place I've ever stayed, but it's nice enough for an old and historic hotel. I like the location because it's within walking distance to the French Quarter but not right in the heart of the action. Don't forget to stop in for a drink at their Carousel Bar!

Ralph Brennan and Terry Whites iconic pink building on Royal Street in the heart of the French Quarter, recently emerged from an extensive renovation that spared no effort or expense. Eight glamorous dining rooms, each steeped in New Orleans architecture and ambiance, celebrate the opulence of dining in a city where breakfast is taken as seriously as dinner. Chef Slade Rushings innovative Creole menu borrows influences from French and Spanish ancestry with modern updates and distinct seasonal offerings. The fanciful design preserves the famous open-air courtyard and adds a private wine room with an eighteen-foot table milled from a single cypress. Brennans old-world elegance inspired dining rooms, and personable, attentive service, create a unique and sophisticated dining experience that lives on in every guests memory.

I've been visiting Tujagues Place for over 10 years. They continue to excel at the fixed menu dining experience. It is a step back in time when you walk in here. A perfectly portioned, great attention to details five course meal for under 50 bux. Each portion is delicate and savory. Save room for the bread pudding and coffee. If you want an off the menu experience ask the water for the Chicken and Gahlic' served over house made potato chips and Pahsley. TRUST ME!

We stayed at the Sheraton, just as we do everytime we travel. This was by far the worst sheraton we have ever stayed at. When I first checked in my room was filthy with urine on the toilet seat and just not cleaned, and I demanded a new room, which was a little better but still not as clean as the other Sheraton's I have stayed at. They were having problems with the elevators and they kept breaking down, as well as doing remodeling and leaving items in the hallways so that you couldnt even walk out of your room. The from desk clerk was so extremly rude and refused to give us a reciept, and when we asked another clerk she printed one without a problem.
