Cobbler's Appliance
I would like to respond to Mary. S who was not happy with me or my business. I am sorry you feel the way you do. And I am sorry you have chosen to slander my business like this with crazy made up Lies. It is and always will be my intention to complete a service in a timely and professional manner creating happy customers. I came to your house and diagnosed the problem. Drain pump for a GE washer was my diagnoses. The part was ordered. When the part came in I tried unsuccessfully to arrange an installation date and time with you. Because of scheduling for both of our availabilities. You assumed that you were my only customer and that I was to disregard any other customer appointments and demanded that I work around your schedule not mine . Unfortunately being in a business you are going to have customers that you can not make happy no matter what you do. Mary you became angry rude and disrespectful towards me to a point that I felt that my coming to your house to install the pump would be very awkward for me . I offered to refund your deposit and send the part back for you. You told me you wanted the part and had a friend that would put it on your machine. I immediately took the part to your home along with a refund check. Over the next few days you called my number at least a dozen times never leaving a message. I finally blocked your number. Yes I have a nickname. So what ? Yes I use a p.o box at the local mailbox copy center. I have a mobile van service and my suppliers will only ship parts to a commercial address and not my home. Fyi Mary. I did not markup any parts. A GE washer drain pumps cost a lot more than 10.00. I have been in the Appliance repair business for over 25 years. I have been in business in Fredericksburg for almost 2 years. I have lots of happy customers and many many referrals and only one bad review. Yours ?Cobblers Appliance
Tips & Advices
If the washing machine is overloaded or all the clothes are packed to one side, the imbalance can cause the washing machine to jerk and shake. These vibrations can be violent enough to slam the machine against other objects, possibly causing damage to its exterior.
Refrigerator coils should be cleaned at least twice a year. Households with pets should clean their refrigerator coils more frequently.
To reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration recommends homeowners set their refrigerators at or below 40 degrees Fahrenheit and their freezers at 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
In terms of operations and upkeep, gas dryers are less expensive than electric. The actual savings depends on the cost of gas vs. electricity in the area. Still, gas dryers heat up faster than electric ones do, making them slightly more energy efficient. However, gas dryers are priced higher than electric ones, so homeowners should prepare to pay more at the outset.
Proper maintenance helps most home appliances last longer. Homeowner's should check their user's manuals for insight on how often to inspect, clean or upgrade their appliances.
