Dr.Sabiha Mohiuddin Family Practice
Experienced, competent doctor who is flexible with respect to insurance plans and varying circumstances. Highly recommend.

Sarah Rivera MD
I felt this physician was non-professional with her attitude toward me. Her secretary was more polite than this doctor. Plus, she charged me $106.05 for a service I was not aware of and my insurance does not cover. I was not aware of this charge before hand. This is Dr. Sarah Rivera, MD. I would make sure you know exactly what they are charging you before hand. Plus, the wait in her office was 35 minutes. One other person in her office when I got there. If you choose her, be prepared to wait and wait and wait. Do not recommend this doctor.

It's hard to rate an entire practice, but unfortunately the worst experiences stick with you. The worst thing you can have in a doctor is arrogance. I've had 3 kids with this practice. 2/3 were with Dr. Sweeney who put me and my baby at risk because of arrogance. I was high risk and told to be induced by a certain date because of the risks but on the day I was suppose to be induced she refused to do so because she wanted to stick with her initial due date that had been given to me in the beginning but had also been changed since. My second baby issue with her was when I was in the hospital and she kept trying to send me home. My daughter was coming, the contractions wouldn't stop, but she kept giving me fluid and trying to send me home. Even after they admitted me she refused to break my water. The head was lie and ready to come out but she decided she was going to make me wait and not break my water.

I have been calling since Friday 18 April 2014 to cancel an appointment and the numbers I call just ring and ring. There is no answering service or machine. I guess that is a way to charge people who are not able to cancel appointments.

Dr. Katherine K Maul Buki, MD
Don't waste your time like I did for 1 year...biggest mistake. Buki does not listen and does not explain things in easy to understand way. Impolite bedside manner with a dash of a rude attitude. My health degraded in her care and she would not listen to my complaints to assist in resolving them. Do not make suggestions to her because she will get bothered and become even ruder. She is the most unprofessional physician I have seen. I have switched and am just now recovering. If you value your health, do not go to buki.

Tips & Advices
An osteopathic physician practices a comprehensive form of medicine that takes a holistic approach to a person's health. Instead of specializing in one system or set of organs, an osteopathic specialist focuses on the health of the total body. This includes evaluating environmental factors that affect a person's well-being.
Many family doctors deliver babies, especially in rural areas without a nearby OB/GYN. However, most family doctors only deliver for low-risk pregnancies and do not perform cesarean sections.
Family nurse practitioners are highly educated nurses able to provide medical care individually or with the assistance of another professional. Family nurse practitioners obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then take the National Council Licensure Examination to begin working as a registered nurse. Then, they continue their education and obtain a Master of Science in Nursing. Following that, they become certified in family practice via the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, allowing them to become certified family nurse practitioners.
Some family doctors provide immunizations while others do not. Typically, doctors who work as part of a large practice are more likely to offer vaccines in-house. Doctors in offices of one to two physicians are more likely to refer patients to a public health department or other immunization provider.
A physician's assistant is a person qualified to perform routine medical services. This individual is professionally licensed and certified, but they may not have the extensive med school education of a doctor. That said, PAs do complete almost three years of postgraduate study and more than 2,000 hours of rotations.
