Took my van in for water pump and additional work for coolant leak on other end of motor, explained all this to girl at counter and she said she will have mechanic have look at it... well .. 2 days later because they were busy, they took care of water pump problem but ducked other coolant leak by saying heads were cracked. Drove van home two miles and had to add gal &1/2 of anti freeze that was'nt put in at garage, then three days later was on my back bolting engine cover back up to vehicle that mechanic sought fit to jam up into frame when he was done because he broke off the bolts holding it on. This place was too a couple years back...that's why I went there, but no more.

Dan at Expert Car Care has taken care of all our vehicles including our two classic cars. He has also repaired our children's and families cars. Besides repair and collision work, he replaces tires, windshields, etc. He told me - he can take care of anything when it comes to cars. Thank you for all that you do!!

I needed some collision work done, so I took my car to Expert Car Care. The insurance company was paying for the repair totally since the accident was not my fault. The insurance appraiser took pictures and forwarded all the information needed to Dan at Expert Car Care. It turns out that there was some unseen damage on the part of the appraiser. I was a bit worried that this was going to be a problem. But, Dan went directly to the appraiser and got everything handled with no inclusion by me what-so-ever! Now that's impressive. Thanks to Dan and his staff for making it all happen so fast and efficiently!

Expert Car Care...the name fits the business. That's exactly what I had experienced when I took both of my Honda vehicles in for repair. They looked practically brand new after he worked on them. Which is quite amazing since my Odyssey is a 1998 and my Accord is a 1995! I recommend Expert Car Care to all my friends and associates who need body repair on their cars as well as someone they can trust.

Problems with cops. I was there one day and over heard a conversation. The cops got there and started to investigate. Decided not to go this shop any more.

I don't know what these guys are talking about, this is the most honest shop and mechanic I have ever been to. I own a 2003 Cadillac it was over heating, I went to the dealer to see what the problem was after charging me $225 for diagnoses, he said I need a head gasket and it will coast $5750 to fix. my cousin told me to see Ray, so I go to Golden Mustang and told ray that my car is over heating, I did not mention what the dealer said , an hour later sitting in the waiting room, he told me that I need heat gasket replaced, and it would cost me $3000.00 with one year warranty on parts & labor, and if i decided not to fix it, I owe nothing for diagnosesI left my car that day to be fixed, thee days later, I got the car in perfect shape, this is my second year driving the car, never had an issue of over heating again, he been servicing all my family cars since, and always give us a ride home if the car is staying for repair at no charge. He is just great'. try him you will not go wrong.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
