KNI Landscaping, LLC
I am sad to say, This company took our money for a fence and landscape job that was supposed to be done the same weekend while we were on leave. We came back a month later and the work was never done. No one even bothered to notify us. We asked for our money back. Now 2 months later, the money was never returned. Very sad to see companies operate this way. Please make a note of this when considering this company.

TurnKey Lawn Service
VERY rude customer service from Larry the owner. His crew did a horrible job mowing our lawn, with uneven lines and choppy grass. They even blew grass all into our pool which caused a huge headache for clean up on our end. I highly do not recommend this company based on our interactions with the owner and their services.

KNI Landscaping, LLC
Prompt and professional! They did a great job with my initial mowing service so I decided to have them come out biweekly. This week I asked them to mow a day earlier than originally planned and they fit me in no problem. Would definitely recommend KNI Landscaping and Fencing to everyone!

I called several days in advance to get on the schedule. I called the day of the schedule and confirmed and they still did not show up.

DO NOT HIRE!! This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with the landscaper! He will lie and tell you anything just to get the job

Scott Landscape Maintenance Inc
This company killed my garden by spraying pesticides on it and now is unresponsive to my requests to resolve this matter. Do not do business with this company. I will probably have to take them to small claims court for this matter to be resolved.

D&B Lawn Care
Very polite gentlemen and do a great job! Highly recommend. They do mine every 2 weeks but will probably start having them come every week with all the rain we have had. Very affordable.

The employee I interacted with was very rude, so I call the office to inform them of a situation & I basically was called a racist which is definitely not true & she proceeded to tell me that the employee's culture is to ignore people. I told her that I'm not calling because he didn't speak English, I was calling because he made a huge mess & that it happens every time theyes come out. All I wanted was for her to talk to them to figure out a solution to this ongoing problem....
Tips & Advices
Employers must conduct all required training in a language and vocabulary that workers can understand. Training must demonstrate the hazards of operating certain machinery, like stone cutters and splitters, as well as how to use them appropriately. It's important to verify that your landscape contractor has taken the necessary steps to fully train its personnel and that the appropriate safety precautions are in place.
Check the specific regulations for your area, and verify that your contractor has the necessary licenses. These may include a state contractor's license, pesticide license, CDL driver's license and license to sell and purchase nursery stock.
Landscape work is not cheap, so it's in your best interest to make sure that it's done to your requirements and that you get the best contractor to do the job. Homeowners should know how much they'll need to pay for the contractor's service as well as how they will be billed for this work. Ask about any design fees, if quoted prices are fixed or estimates, and what the payment process will be. Clarifying these items in the beginning will prevent any surprise expenses.
Yes. Homeowners should require that the contractor submit certificates verifying compliance with safety, insurance, workers' compensation and drug and alcohol testing programs. This will give you peace of mind that the contractor has gone through all the steps under industry regulations.
Yes. Every good contractor should have a list of recently completed jobs that you can see in their portfolio. They should also have a list of references that you can contact, or properties that you can see in person.
