Collision Maxx
This is an update to my review below, which was written and posted in late November, 2015. I received a call from Robert, the new office manager at the Collision Maxx North Richland Hills location a few days after I was turned away. He told me that they had located my misfiled paperwork and that they would be happy to replace my broken door handle, free of charge. He said he would order the new part and call me when it came in. I got a call two days later and was told the part had arrived and I was asked to bring my car in and drop it off. Robert told me that he anticipated my repair to be completed at the end of the next day, (paint drying being the subjective.) He called me just when he said he would and told me that my repair was complete and my car was ready to be picked up. I didn't have a ride, so Robert offered to come pick me up. I have to admit, their body and paint man does an exceptional job at matching up paint. I believe that my initial experience was simply a misunderstanding, and I would recommend Collision Maxx to those in need of paint and body work.Posted by Charles P. Altman on 12/14/15We took our 1999 Buick Park Avenue to the newer Collision Maxx location at 6404 N. Davis Blvd. In North Richland Hills and dealt with B J, who manages both locations. We have a door handle that you lift up to open. The metal catch had broken off, so the door wouldn't open. The fix was simple-remove the inner door panel, remove the old handle, replace with (what I was led to believe was) a new GM door handle, which had to be painted. They completed the job on March 19, 2015. I paid $263 and left with my “lifetime warranty” in hand. The same “GM” handle they replaced, broke again in mid November 2015. This is a one man shop. He came outside, gave it a jiggle and told me “Yup, it broke again.” I left a copy of the original receipt with him, and he led me to believe that they would order another handle and call me when it came in. I got a call three days later while I was out of town. When I got back to town on Nov. 30th, I went to their office. The guy behind the desk was told by B J that they couldn't repair my vehicle. I asked why not, since it's a GM part, I'm sure they'll replace it. He said he didn't know where they got the part. I then asked him what if I pay for labor? He told me “we don't want the job.” I turned and as I was walking out the door, he said “We're sorry.” I thought to myself that he had finally said something that I agree with.Posted by Charles P. Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting
I am so impressed with my Maaco experience. The trim on the rear door of the drivers' side of my 2006 Impala started to catch on the trim of the front door. This was obviously a manufacturing defect but I was apprehensive about returning my car to the dealer as I knew I would be at their mercy regarding time. I decided to try to repair the damage myself and got out the superglue. I managed to totally damage the paint on both doors and the damage only got worse. When I brought my car in to the Maaco on South Hulen I was greeted warmly by Greg who did the original estimate. He was so helpful and bless his heart tried to make me feel not so bad about my poor judgement. Anyway, it turned out that the guys at Maaco were able to repair the damage They were able to repair the damage to my car without painting anything. I can't believe they even cared enough to try to do that. And it looks like new - it's beautiful! I am so grateful to all the people at the Maaco on South Hulen. In addition, it only took two days and renting a car from Enterprise down the street was a breeze. The other places I went to told me it would be a minimum of 4 days to complete the repairs. I can't say enough about how great my experience was at the Maaco on South Hulen. My phone calls were answered promptly and courteously and I was kept informed of the repair process. The thing that really impresses me is that this was not a very important or profitable undertaking for Maaco but I felt like they really cared about helping me. It was unprecedented in this day and age. Go to this Maaco - they are AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Crazy Clover Tattoos
I came into matts shop last December to get a tattoo for my friend who had ms. And he drew me up a beautiful tattoo within an hour I was back that same day and unfortunately he had to go so his other artist had to do it instead the tattoo cane out okay and as soon as Matt saw it he said he didn't like the colouring and would fix it for me for free. Which I appreciated and was eager to get one done by matt . so for my next 3 tattoos he has given me a great deal on all of them not pricey at all. And he even let's me pay in payments which is perfect for me. He is a great guy who makes you feel like family or a best friend. And all the people saying he is inappropriate is inaccurate I believe his shop is appropriate for young kids and elderly and in fact they have been in there when I am tattooing. Yes Matt does joke but he knows when to joke and who to joke with I wouldn't want a stiff tattoo artist that doesn't talk at all and keeps to his self you want someone who makes you comfortable. Overall his shop is great always clean and friendly. He tattoos you at the pace you can take and actually puts thought into the products he buys making sure he has the best for his clients.

I'd recommend this place to anybody. My good buddy got a tattoo done here the other day. Went to a different tattoo shop to get an estimate and all that, and they were not excited at all to do the tattoo. He went here, Matt was a great, Christian guy who was so excited to do it. After doing the outline, Matt told my friend if he doesn't mind, he'll just go off of what was in his head for the shading, and it came out GREAT. My buddy also paid for his tattoo ahead of time, and got taken care of quickly and efficiently, unlike another review I saw. In fact, he is going back in a week for him to touch up and finish the tattoo for free. Great family atmosphere, not a sketchy, biker filled place! You could take a 5 year old kid here and be comfortable.

Factory Finish Collision Center
I was at this location a month ago getting my back window and some dents and body work fixed on my 2014 Chevrolet silverado cause of the bad storm that we had it dented up my truck and busted out my back window. Well as soon as I got their I was greeted by the front staff and was takin care of right away. The boss their was also helpful too going through with me step by step on whats gonna happen with my truck and how long its gonna take. I was so happy to get my truck back in a timely fashion and it looked better than ever after they brought it back to life. Thank you everyone at that shop for taking care of me and my truck I would recommend this place for awesome bodywork and on how professional they are also.

Factory Finish Collision Center
I went to this shop a month ago to get some body work done on my 2010 ford f-150, when I got their I was pleasantly greeted by the front staff and then the estimator came out and we got the paperwork started on my truck. After the paperwork was done we both went outside and did a once over on my truck. then he went through the process with me on whats gonna happen with my truck and that he would keep updated on my truck and when it was ready. I was pleasantly surprised when I got my truck back in a reasonable time and it was clean inside and out on top of that so thats why I gave this shop 5 stars I would recommend this shop to anyone that is looking for one right now.

Committing on Horrible ... the customer that wrote this review left the shop with a perfect tattoo shook our artists hand and said thank you ... Eddie has over 10 years experience in the field... every customer is given an after care sheet and verbal instructions on how to take care of their tattoo.. if you do not follow the instructions your tattoo will scab up and not look presentable ... this is Matt .. the owner... when i saw this mans tattoo it was one big scab .. when Mr Horrible got rude with me I asked him to leave my shop .. this is the type of shop that goes above and beyond for each and every customer .. Treat us how you would want to be treated

Haws Paint & Body Shop
I have known Eddie for over 15 years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else for body work. I have used Haws Paint & Body Shop numerous times. I was first associated with him through our company. We run a fleet of vehicles, and we have always taken them to his shop. The quality of work is as good as any body shop I have ever been to, if not better. I also use him for my personal vehicles as well. The prices are always, always lower than any other shop we have compared them to.Eddie is a very honest and hardworking guy. He really cares about his customers, and it comes through in the work and service he provides. I am happy to know him.

YWCA
I highly recommend the Downtown YWCA for any Bride who is looking for not only a beautiful venue, but a place where the staff is kind and accomodating. The staff is so nice. I cannot recommend this venue enough. I played two weddings there over the past 2 weeks, and felt a relaxed atmosphere... free of stress. This is not easy to find in this day and time. I look forward to returning to this great facility to play more beautiful weddings. Thank you staff. Laura Cummings/Sounds of Laura www.soundsoflaura.com
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
