Do NOT use Texas Discount Air. We had him come look at our ac unit this morning. When we declined to accept the repair due to his outrageous price he told my husband and I "f**k you, I should have known than to come to this sh*t hole haslet."

I count myself lucky that I found Texas Discount Air! If you are in the Mid-Cities area and are in need of a knowledgeable Service Pro I HIGHLY recommend calling Todd at Texas Discount Air.Todd is the owner and operator of this company, and he CARES about his customers! After assessing our system, diagnosing the problem, and knowing the solution, he informed us of the trouble with our unit. Todd, the Super Pro, had the parts in his truck to complete the repair with out any run around, or hurry up and wait! We all fear the AC repair bill, maybe not the man. With Todd and T.D.A., there is NOTHING to fear! His "can you please come help me," service call price is 29$. Yes, he means it. His labor and prices are scaled so that you can still afford groceries for the remainder of the month, as well as enjoy your COLD AC!Lastly, YES! If your AC stops working at 5am, 7pm or even 12am, CALL TODD!! Don't let yourself, children and pets suffer in this heat! He does emergency AC service, and that $29.00 service fee seems to be the same if it is during normal business hours or late at night. Mr. Todd, I cannot thank you enough from the bottom of my heart for your care, compassion and amazing service. I am blessed to have found such a caring service Tech. Stay Safe sir.

Under NO circumstance would I recommend or allow this company to work on my system,Please see Better Business Bureau complaints and ratings man came out and said he could not do a diagnosis, because the compressor/coil was frozen and it would need to thaw out. i explained that we had our grandchildren for the next few days and the repair was imperative. Service person told me that he would be back the next day; however, he told my husband that his boss said to stay and wait for it to un-thaw, which he did not.We called the next two days with NO response. On Monday, American Home Shield Warranty Company stated that there was a problem with a connection outside and the work was not covered. All was untrue and an excuse to not return for the work.They get the fee from warranty companies, and do not return to do work,Service man said that we probably just needed freon . It appears from his actions and the reviews on Angie's List (rating D) that this is standard. when freon doesn't work the company seems to want to do costly repairs.

Outstanding Service, knowledge, and professionalism. We had an All Pro technician come out to address our upstairs unit that was not cooling at all, but the upstairs and downstairs drip pans flow to the same outlet. We had to have them come back out because the bottom unit was leaking into our walls due to the way both units were installed before we bought the house. Rather than push the problem onto someone else, they worked tirelessly to try every option they could to get both units to work, and they accomplished their goal when they found the debris buildup caused by the remodeling the previous owner had done to the house. Both times they came out, they made sure to explain the situation clearly and showed me the issues that were causing the problems. Not only would I HIGHLY recommend All Pro Mechanical, but I will be using them again for any issues going forward.

This guy is a thief. He installed a whole "new AC unit" and then when it stopped working two months later- he did not give us any information about a warranty and stopped answering and returning my calls. When I called from a different number, he would answer and say he would come out and then never did. After this happened, I talked to others who knew this guy was a thief and liar. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY FOR ANYTHING.

If I could give neg stars for Just Chillin' , I would. Assigned case via American Home Shield, to finally replace an attic unit with which I have had 4 service requests for leaking coolant. Finally, AHS has agreed to replace the coil/airhandler in the attic, but Just Chillin' left word on service invoice that I "needed an enlarged hole" for install of unit. No further info. After nearly 10 days of telephone calls, I could not get Just Chillin' to call me back with either details of the needed port size, or to answer some basic questions about installation options. Finally, an AHS mgr got Just Chillin' to pass, that I needed a 30'-30' hole to install 3.5 ton unit in the attic - way larger than std rafter spacing, & involves structural work in my attic. 3 other AC guys have said "unnecessary". Just Chillin' WON'T call me back to discuss. Now 2.5 weeks w/o AC, in 100 deg TX wx. Avoid these guys and AHS like the plague! Beyond that, Just Chillin' LIED re: comms w/ me & slandered me.

I prayed to God the week my air went out because it was hot and the little kids and I were melting to death. I had called several companies and a friend. Brown heating and cooling robbed me blind putting parts on I didn't even need that I had already put on new the year before. I tried to get my money back never did. No one new how to fix my problem. I started praying and God answered my prayers with Lonnie Hull and Lonnie came in there that day and found the problem nobody could find and fixed it. Thank you God and thank you my Angel Lonnie. He helped us out with a new Air conditioner later. I was a Happy happy happy customer. ❤️
