Cowtown Canine Daycamp For Dogs
My dog, Baxter, has been going to Cowtown Canines for about 2 years. He LOVES it! He goes twice a week, and sometimes on Saturdays. I have boarded him many times with them as well; I pay a little extra for him to go home with Aunt Brittany (the owner). He's 11 1/2 yrs and has never been in a kennel, so I don't want to start that now with him. He loves all the girls there, and always goes right back with them when I drop him off in the mornings. He doesn't get too worn out, but it's because he's older and he likes to sunbathe & nap for most of the day. BUT since he has been going there he is so much better around other dogs that we run into, he doesn't shy away anymore. He gets to be outside and socialize, which has been great for him. I never worry when he is there. When we get home we do his normal routine, but then he's ready for bed by 8 pm. I cannot recommend them enough. Brittany and the girls are fantastic with all the dogs. You can see pics and videos via facebook throughout the week. On holidays they also do fun pictures (his 4th of July one is below).

Cowtown Canine Daycamp For Dogs
I just moved to the area recently from the Midwest and am going back for Thanksgiving. I'd never boarded my buddy before and did a lot of research to make sure I chose the right place (which is also a reason why I'm posting this as many places as I can- to help other people make a decision more easily!). I found Cowtown Canines and saw the great reviews so I decided to check it out by letting Ziggy have a camp play day there before I board him next week. He LOVED it and was so pooped from playing with his new friends he went to bed before me that night. For a 1 year old high energy retriever mix that's saying something. He got some serious play time in! I feel much better now going home for the holidays knowing he'll be taken care of and having a good time. I really appreciated the photo uploads on facebook showing my dog playing inside and out posted that night. Brittany is also great and is just the kind of person you feel good about leaving your pup with. Thanks!!

Spa Paws Hotel
I have been taking my dogs to Spa Paws since it opened. I take my dogs for boarding, grooming, daycare, and I take my dogs to their veternarian Dr. Mohar. No one has ever taken better care of my dogs. You couldn't ask for a better or more kind veternarian than Dr. Mohar. They are always perfectly groomed and they love the groomer, not the case anywhere else I have taken them. As for boarding and daycare, I feel comfortable that my dogs well being is their #1 priority and I love that someone is there 24 hours a day so they are never left alone. When you pull up and your dogs can't wait to get inside, that pretty much says it all. There is no better place to take your dogs or cats.

Spa Paws Hotel
Spa Paws Hotel is the BEST!The owner, vet, and staff are incredible. It's a great place to board your dog, drop off for day care, grooming and vet matters. I will not take my dogs to any other clinic/vet. I have been coming to Spa Paws since they opened. Keep up the great work. I recommend everyone stop by for a tour and experience this hotel. I guarantee you won't go anywhere else. I have been very happy!

Spa Paws Hotel
Beautiful facility, however the customer service is lack-luster. I go to pick my dog up and the tall, thin blonde gives me her leash without a thank you or have a nice day. I have no idea how my dog did during her stay because of the lack of communication to the customer. You lost my business.

Love this place! Friendly staff. I've taken Bo to other groomers and he was running out the door but when I picked him up from Yuppie Puppies he didn't want to leave. Bo APPROVED!!! Take your dog...definitely recommend.

Cowtown Canine Daycamp For Dogs
Fantastic facility! Prices are competitively structured with other doggy day care facilities. Brittany helped our family with our dog Rosco in an unfortunate time of need. Thanks Cowtown Canines Crew!
Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
