Liberty Pest Control (LPC)
I found out about Liberty Pest Control through my In-Laws. They have been with Liberty Pest Control for over 12 years. When we got our own home, we still chose this company. We have been with them for 9 years. Dustin is my favorite! He always makes you laugh, loves on your fur babies, child friendly, and does the job right. He always asks if we have any problems, and doesn't cut corners. Best pest control company available!

The first appointment between 5-7pm, which of course they never showed up to, we waiting until almost 8 because the driver was on the way blah blah then was told at the last phone call at 745 they couldn't make it and rescheduled for 5-7 the next day. The "manager" guarantees they will be there and will call by 1 to confirm. No call so we call them...there is nothing on the schedule but they have a tech available and will call by 530 to let us know he's on the way....welp come 530 and no call we call back "oh it shows on the schedule but was never approved by a manager so no one is coming." It was scheduled by the manager!!!! Well then when can someone be here and there responds is "oh, I don't know." From the same manager!! This place is a joke!!!

I called Terminex and made an appointment for them to come to my house and begin service. I was ready to pay the big money for quarterly spraying, mosquito spraying, and to have the house worked on so no rodents can get in. The technician called at 9 am to confirm my 5-7pm appointment window. He asked if he could come earlier and I said sorry no because I do not get off of work until that time. He seemed frustrated at my answer. He never showed. I called the company three times. Each time I was put on hold ........after 15 min each time, I hung up. TERRIBLE customer service.

McKinzie's Pest Control
Have been using McKinzie's Pest Control for many years. Previously had contract with big name national company. Previous company could not get "Texas roaches" under control. McKinzie resolved this for us and is always available to address and resolve other pest issues, like seasonal ants. I no longer cringe when seasons change wondering how we will survive the onslaught of big bugs. Love this firm!!! Not sure what's up with reviewer below, but that was absolutely not our experience. Mackenzie an effective and, just as importantly, honest and trustworthy firm.

Tips & Advices
Baits can be effective in situations where you're dealing with a relatively small number of pests. But in cases where there is a full infestation, pest control sprays usually provide a quicker and more thorough solution. Keep in mind, though, that sprays can be toxic to both humans and the environment. In many cases, baiting can be a safer and less hazardous choice.
Yes, many commercial pest control companies offer green products. Certain pest control chemicals can be harmful to both humans and the environment. Some commercial pest control companies use eco-friendly, biodegradable options to keep pests in check, with active ingredients such as mint, rosemary, thyme, boric acid, and diatomaceous earth.
In many cases, pest control methods used in commercial and residential environments are the same, but there may be differences in the way these methods are implemented. For example, both residential and commercial pest control may incorporate pest exclusion, which aims to keep pests out by sealing and securing a building's access points. Since many commercial facilities cover much more space than the typical residence, implementation of this approach would be different.
Commercial pest control differs from residential in the amount of care required. Because many commercial facilities are much larger than the typical home or apartment, commercial pest control often entails more frequent service. While residential pest control usually requires monthly or quarterly service, commercial pest control may take place on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Certain pests are common in commercial settings. Rats and mice plague many businesses of all types. In addition to carrying diseases, such as tuberculosis and salmonella, rodents can cause costly damage by gnawing into pipe work and electrical wires. Bed bugs are a growing nuisance. These pests may be found in hotels and student accommodations, and they can even infest office furniture. Flies are commonly found in restaurants, bars, and food factories.
