Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
I requested service from this division of Roto Rooter specifically requesting water jetting for a mainline metal sewer pipe needing scales removed. The tech did not show up with a jet but offered to retrieve one from this location. The office lied about my request to the General Manager, John Elward which was evident from the letter he emailed to me which also rejected future service. John mentioned that he was trying to save me cost which I didn't request. John had mentioned a family member in the letter which has been hired by me and is being paid by me to handle this property in a professional manner. By stating my son's name in the letter he wrote to me, along with too many other unwarranted claims John specifically and outright shown his pure lack of professionalism. The only 100% positive from my transaction was that he refused any future service to me. For this I would like to personally thank him

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Not sure how they treat customers and are still in business! I called them to schedule and appointment and they told me it would be TWO weeks before they could get to me. Then I called them back to schedule the appointment and they said they DONT WANT TO DO THE WORK FOR ME!! I'd keep your money away from them and go somewhere else!! The lady I was talking I was extremely rude! I would highly recommend to stay away from this "Business"

Sheets Robert Plumbing
I was referred to Robert Sheets Plumbing by a co-worker. Before I start, this review is not in regards to their quality of work...my 1 star review is to reflect no showing twice in one week. I was put on the schedule for Monday. 3:30 I called to check the status, I was told the plumber is still at a job and continues calls after 5pm. NO SHOW that night! Tuesday they inform me AFTER I CALL THEM I am on the schedule for that morning. I reschedule in frustration for Friday.Friday, I had a short conversation and was assured the plumber was in route to arrive at 10:15ish. I get home around 10am; 45 mins. later no plumber. I call and find out the plumber was sent to another call. The reason is quite upsetting...because I didn't confirm right when they called....In the voice mail they left I had 10-15 mins to call back to keep my time. Call received at 9:43am. Call returned at 9:45am. My business is going else where because they can't even show up when they say they will.

Danny Handschy did a great job! He arrived at the time he said he would, was very professional, and had the right equipment. You could tell he was experienced, and was the kind of guy you want working on the problem. The office girls were friendly and efficient. The kind of folks you like doing business with

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
I hire one plumbing company in Fort Wayne and all they wanted to do was add another clean out and tear up my yard.. Mike came with the right equipment. he even use the cam to show us what was happening .It took awhile but Mike got the job done right. Not just using a drain snake for a few feet last the plumber did. It was done right like a pro.Roto-Rooter does mean send your trouble down the drain.

Gpc Plumbing Inc
GPC plumbing incorporated is a local company that is local to our South side location.A friend recommended them as he has retired and can't do tougher jobs anymore. We were very satisfied, both with the price (reasonable) and the on-time arrival. Raoul was our plumber - he did good work.If you need plumbing or other maintenance type work I recommend these guys.

Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
