Mary Argus Dds
I have not been to a dentist since I was 5. I had a tooth that was killing me from a cavity I had in my molar and I turned to facebook for suggestions and my neighbor suggested Dr. Argus. Her kids go there and they just moved here from Michigan a year ago and they love her! She is NOT fake like the other review says and she is NOT mean by any means. I have been going to her for the past 3 months to get everything taking care of and I even had great teeth are better than I thought they were once they cleaned them thoroughly cause I could have sworn I was going to lose a lot of my teeth and I didn't lose a one. I told them I have bad anxiety issues and the whole team was awesome with me and I'm 40! I just had 2 tiny cavities filled and one more to go and then I'm done for 6 months which is cleaning time again...My mouth is very small and my gums are extremely sensitive..yeah it hurt some...but, they made sure every step they took I was comfortable all of them. I recommend her!

Kool Smiles
We've been going to Kool Smiles for a few years so I'm use to waiting but the last visit was awful! We had been there on Monday for a cleaning which we got right in but took an hour due to something being wrOng with X-rays. They did my daughters 5-6 times. They said she had a cavity so I took her back on Thursday to get it filled. We were there for an hour and forty minutes before they took my daughter back. 2 hr visit for nothing. Staff was nice and offered to reschedule after being there for an hour. No one in my opinion should have to wait this long and after they took her back she never ended up NOT having a cavity, someone read the X-rays wrong. In all we drove an hour to get there so spent 4 hours for an unnecessary appt. after this I wonder if they hurry so much stuff is missed. If my dental insurance covered more places I would definitely switch. This said my daughter loves the place and staff is nice and friendly.

Don't go to this place unless you have no other options. The two pros for this place was the kids play area in the waiting room and the one big room to clean their teeth. It makes it easy to stay with both kids. However, the last time I took my two kids for a routine cleaning, the appointment took nearly 2 hours. We waited over 45 minutes to be called in, then it took forever for the kids to be seen. Once they were done, we had to wait another 5 minutes before someone could "walk us out". No one seemed to be in any sort of a rush, so naturally assumed we weren't, either. We missed our appointment somewhere else because of it. Needless to say, we will not be going here again. If you have a kid who is very scared of the dentist, or a child who has never been before, it might be worth a try, but don't plan on getting out of there for a while.

Clinkenbeard Benjamin Dds
We've never had a long wait, and Dr. Clinkenbeard seems to be very honest. Went in for orthodontic consult for my daughter and instead of just slapping braces on, he wanted to give her teeth time to see if they straightened on their own. My husband went in for a crown and about an hour into drilling he let him know that the tooth was really bad and might not hold a crown for long and suggested pulling. He never charged us for the drilling and prep. My wisdom teeth have decided to make a late emergence and instead of jumping into pulling he wants to make sure they aren't a problem first. All in all, he's not money hungry and he's honest. The hygienists remember us and are very friendly as well!

Kool Smiles
I was so nervous for my 5 yr old grandson, I have read some bad reviews, so was very hesitant, but after his initial visit I felt so much better about Kool Smiles. It went very well. He loved the play area and the atmosphere they are very kid friendly. Everyone treated him good and was so nice. Today was his second visit and I was extremely nervous and worried. After talking to Maria F. I was feeling much better. Dr. R. Orman and her assistant jamie S. was very good. The three of them did a wonderful job! And so did my grandson. Also the price was three times less than a pediatric dentist in Auburn. I would definitely recommend them!.

Kool Smiles
The staff was very friendly there I had a 330 appointment for my daughter we got there at 315 to fill out paperwork that we did not leave until 515 they were extremely slow and then the only other thing that I didn't really care for it was my daughter said once they took in the back there was an individual rooms it was just one big gigantic room without any petitions or anything in between it everybody kind of had to be in front of everybody when they were getting her teeth done and I've never heard of a dentist's office like that before but the staff was friendly I will say that but the rest experience wasn't really that good

My children and myself all go to Kool Smiles. I have had nothing but good experiences. My 6 year old asks me everytime we go by there if it is time for his appt. I have been going for 4 weeks now getting ATLEAST 1 filling on EVERY tooth. Last couple weeks I have had Dr. Orman, Dental assistence Jen and Jamie. Dr Orman has been very gentle and such a sweetheart with knowing that I have had past horrible dental work done. The dental assistants are equally gentle and sweet. only complaint that I have with Kool Smiles is sometimes you are there awhile....but other then that they are awesome.

I love this location! Dr.Orman is absolutely wonderful with children! An I was even allowed to sit in the room with my child! I would totally recommend this dental office to anyone! They talk to your child during the entire visit an assure them of each step an that the numbing procedure will be over quickly they do not mention needles or anything that could scare your child. My daughter will definitely be a longtime member of this dental office!! Thank You KoolSmiles!!

Lakewood Family Dental P.C
This is a great dentist office and would recommend it to any friends and family. The staff are very nice and professional and the rooms are comfortable. On my first appointment he noticed some small cracks in my fillings and suggested they be redone. Charges for dental work are very reasonable, and his office allows monthly payments, especially in these hard times. I will never see anyone else for dental work.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
