I don't like giving such a bad rating but the management here needs to grow a conscience. I became deathly ill for nearly a year. I couldn't even manage my bank account. My wife had to go into the building to cancel my membership. The employee told her he didn't know how to cancel without me being present. A manager wasn't available to help so he hand wrote a cancellation intent form and asked my wife to have me sign it. He said drop it off to me and I will take care of the rest. He was nice. We didn't have a reason not to believe him. To be clear, we received verbal confirmation that my membership was cancelled. It never got done though. We were being billed until I received a collection notice a couple years later for almost $300. Really? Ok. Mistakes happen. Let's go make it right. I went in and explained to the manager and they wouldn't lift a finger. Kept referring to their terms and challenging me to provide evidence. At the same time, I am finally healthy enough to return to the gym. My father also has a membership there since before they even opened. They doubled the price on him recently. He wasn't happy about it. They don't care. They ripped off his son too. Ha! Guess they don't plan to keep Dad either. It's too bad. They could be making money off us for a long time. Their hearts are not in it though. I like the equipment and their employees are friendly. But management chooses to be dishonest and, unfortunately, will rip people off. They have a competence issue and will be glad to have you pay for it. So we just got a no contract prepay membership at Planet Fitness. I'd rather hear a lunk alarm than be ripped off. :/

Star Nails
Worst service ever! Half of our party waited over an hour, our poor 7 year old sat at her pedicure chair without water for 30 min ALONE bc there wasn't room for our party near her. Rushed through all of our party, never scrubbed my feet properly, didn't address the brides cuticles, forgot me at the dryer after I specifically said toes and fingers... then cut my nails off and started filing my SKIN instead of my nail! They HURT every single person we were with. They couldn't speak any English, were rude and totally could tell they were way rushed! There are better places to spend your time and money, don't waste it here!

Nail design
I asked for a very specific design, showed him the picture of what I wanted. He said yes he could do it no problem. Never mentioned he would charge more. Then to add insult he did not give me the P that's the Pirates emblem he just wrote a P on me. He didn't allow the dots to dry sonthr smeared. Then to make matters worse the mails started chipping the next day and by Friday (day two) they looked like I had been digging in a rock garden! I definitely would never go back! Save your money!

Top Nails
The service was awesome. My husband and I had pedicures and the husband and wife team took so much time and care that I plan on going back soon. I recommend this establishment to anyone but I recommend that you go before the weekend when they are not so busy.

No, it is possible to install a home alarm system yourself. Some systems are specifically designed to be installed by homeowners. These systems are often cheaper and more customizable. However some systems require the expertise of a professional and installation should be left up to them to avoid making any errors. Review the specifications of the system and/or contact the manufacturer if you are unsure about its installation requirements.
  • Easy and inexpensive to install and does not require any drilling or modification of the home.
  • Does not require a landline.
  • Can be taken from one home to another during change of residence.
  • Can be combined with a hardwired system.
  • No need to change any batteries, as with wireless systems
  • No interference from other signals
  • All hardwired systems run on essentially the same technology so products and services from different companies will be compatible with each other.
  • If moving to a home with a hardwired system already installed, you can save money by bypassing installation costs.
  • New security equipment for these systems is less expensive than for wireless systems.
  • Can be combined with a wireless system
  • Hardwired: A system that uses cables to connect all sensors to a central control panel within your home. The cables are usually installed within the walls or floorboards of your home. The control panel then uses your home’s landline connection to call for assistance (police, fire, medic).
  • Wireless: A system which uses wireless technology (wi-fi) to connect all sensors to your home’s central control panel. The panel uses the established network to communicate with the outside for assistance.
  • A combination of hardwired and wireless: Custom systems can be configured to have a home totally hardwired and equipped with wireless outside communication (no landline), or have a totally wireless home and hardwired outside communication.
