I filed my only claim after hitting a deer. My car was totaled and I was to receive a check for the claim. Finally about 3 months after I was told my check was in the mail, I got my check. I kept calling and emailing, the communication on their end was lacking to stay the least. Among other things it was just an awful experience. I highly recommend state farm, or anyone else.

If you're researching insurance, RUN AWAY! My new auto policy is more affordable. Nationwide & this agency left me hanging on a homeowner policy for 2 months, I was calling weekly. Now other insurers are penalizing me for a lapse in coverage. Nationwide is NOT on your side. I cancelled all policies & like I said, my new auto is cheaper.
