Benefit Plumbing of Fort Smith
My hot water heater went out last weekend so I called the office and left them a message, I told them that it was not an emergency & a call back on Mon. would be fine. They returned my call shortly after 7 am and in a couple of hours (Adam) had it checked out and was explaining that it needed a new release valve and what it was going to take to fix it (parts, time wise, costs) and within about 15 minutes he had it up and running. We appreciated his honesty because neither of the two of us know much about plumbing???? He really seemed knowledgeable about his work and enjoyed doing it. A real pleasure to be around. All in all, I would say this was a great experience dealing with Benefit Plumbing. Fast, friendly, experienced people and great prices. We'll be a customer for life and happy, and confident in referring them to others who need their services. GOOD JOB ADAM!

Custom Maids Inc.
I recently visited my great aunt and uncle in Arkansas for a week while I was there on business. They have a great big house that makes you feel so welcome. However, I noticed right away that there were cobwebs and dust in every room. Back in the day, they kept their home immaculate. But now that they are up in age, it isn't so easy for them to do. It was more than I could manage to do during my short stay. I did some research and found Custom Maids. What a Godsend! Very professional and super easy to work with. I told them what we were looking for and they came out and did a phenomenal job. They took care of all of those nooks and crannies that you either forget about or can't reach without a ladder. I was so pleased with their competitive rate and gentle customer service. My aunt and uncle said that they will be using Custom Maids again on a regular basis.

Tacker Plumbing
I had an emergency where I needed to sell my home quickly. However, I had a few things such as leaky faucets, garbage disposal replacement, and loose shower heads that needed to be taken care of...Thanks to Mr. Tacker and his son for their professional, but laid back demeanor, I was able to get my home back up in tip top shape before I had any offers. I would definitely recommend this team to anyone looking for plumbing services because they will not hesitate to explain exactly what was wrong and what they did to fix the problem...I was at ease knowing I could sell my home in working condition. Thanks a bunch, Mr. Tacker!

Custom Maids Inc.
I can't tell you how surprised I was with this service. They did very detailed work. I had a cleaning lady that was much cheaper but she didn't show up half the time and missed several things each time she cleaned. I decided to try Custom Maids and I'm so glad I did. They aren't the cheapest service out there but they are the best I have ever used. If you want quality work, call them.

Sunday, I called, the guy called back, told me a price for unclogging my sewer, I went with it. Very prompt, very nice, did the job, charged me exactly what he said it would be, no hidden cost. He knew his stuff and did his job quickley and effeciently. I would recommend them anytime. There price was alot lower on a weekend than anyone else. Sean

Called them to cap a gas line. The communication was great - nice and helpful. The Plumber arrived promptly and looked professional. Worked quickly, even taking a short time to go get a part. He was friendly and informative. The price was much less than I was expected for crawling under the house in a 16 inch space. Would recommend!

Tips & Advices
The following tools and common household objects can be used to clean drains at home:
  • A plunger
  • A drain snake
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Grease-fighting dish soap
Homeowners can mix boiling water with any of the last three products to break up grease and grime.
The main ingredients in clog removal liquid products are sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite. According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, both break down into relatively harmless components when it comes into contact with water or soil. However, both substances cause mild irritation to skin and internal tissues.
Also known as a drain auger, a drain snake is a coiled device around ΒΌ-inch thick. To use a drain snake, put the end into the entrance of the drain. Turn the handle to force the snake deeper, using extra pressure to force it through the bend in the pipe. Keep turning until the snake hits the clog, then either pull the snake and remove the obstruction or force it through. Once the snake is out of the drain, run the water on full blast for a few minutes to ensure the obstruction is completely removed.
Plungers don't damage residential pipes, but the force created by the act of plunging weakens the seal between the toilet and the floor.
Many plumbers, both local businesses and nationwide chains, offer emergency or same-day services.
