Dog Gone Pretty
This business is totally professional and does a great job with my dog. However, at this time their phone number is disconnected. I wish I could find out if she is still in business.

Do not trust with your pets there are always children running around people in and out just visiting.

Excellent grooming! When I brought my yorkie the groomer asked me how I wanted the cut and answered any questions I had. The cut was perfect, the right length on the body, face and ears. The staff is friendly and treat you and your baby as valued customers. I am so glad I found this groomer.

Made my husky like new and got so much undercoat out and charged a very fair price for all that work. Thank you so much for re-invigorating my baby...he is so happy not being so hot outside with his new do. Best dog grooming in port st lucie, paws down!!

Fur Dogs Only Grooming Salon
Great shop and great people. Wont take my furry ones any place else. To the negative reviewer on here, almost ALL shops require a signed form to protect themselves from sue happy people. It is bad reviews from people like you that waste peoples times. This shop is one of the most professional and has the most loving groomers I have ever taken my dogs to. If you have a doubt go check out the shop personally I think you will find the ladies there treat your pets like family.

My first time reviewing because of the excellent care I was given here at Fur Dogs. My baby was well taken care of and looks great. I also love that they do doggy day care and havethe proper cage free option for my baby to have space to play, sleep and eat. Overall the staff is great and put my mind at ease seeing how they took care of my dog as soon as we walked in.If I could give a 6th star I would.

So glad I located this shop. I have had some bad experiences on some of the shops in Port St Lucie and this place was SUCH A BREATH OF FRESH AIR (literally) They took excellent care of my big babies, pampered them and actually put them in the daycare area for more space (they are big) and this kept everything at peace and the shop is SO clean and was very pleasant the groomers all smliing and loving each pet as their own, that means alot.

The Perky Puppy
This is one of the most animal loving and caring people I know in Fort Pierce. And she is the best goomer in town. My dog's went to no one else and loved having her working on them. Even my little Jessee whom all groomer's loved but cringed when they had to work with him had a wagging tail and happy bark for "his Debby"
Tips & Advices
Many people fear that their pet will be injured at the groomer, but incidents of serious injury are infrequent. For minor injuries , it is appropriate the groomer pay the vet bill, and can usually be worked out between groomer and owner. For moderate to severe injuries, you can attempt to activate groomer’s liability insurance to cover medical expenses. However, be aware that most groomer contracts stipulate that the business does not assume responsibility.
Staff at groomers know that there is inherent risk when handling animals, and they are familiar with being snapped at or bitten. However, it is not a normal occurrence or something you should ignore. Many people choose to cover medical expenses or pay extra--at minimum, apologize and get the dog into behavior classes. It is a given that  you should sedate or muzzle the animal for all future grooming sessions.
It is always recommended to make an appointment to get your pet groomed. While some groomers, especially in the larger pet stores, can accommodate with short notice, popular neighborhood groomers are often booked out two weeks out or longer on weekends.
If your pet has sensitive skin, let the groomer know when you set the appointment. But be aware, all dogs have sensitive skin by human standards--their skin is much thinner. Therefore, you should be on the lookout for signs of sensitivity, and reduce it through regular grooming with gentle, natural shampoo and conditioner. Oatmeal shampoo is a favorite. Daily brushouts and omega oil supplements are recommended for every day at-home care.
For various reasons including insurance clauses and pet-owner relationship dynamics and behaviors, groomers prefer owners don’t stay with their pets while being groomed.
