The salad was very good, and the potato. this is a good steak house if you like raw steak. i wanted my steak well done. they bout it out to me bleeding. we came in at 9:00 pm it all ready takes about 30 to 45 min to get the food out. i order a 20oz steak i sent it back to be cooked longer. they came back with not even three pieces of steak, and told me they have to do it like that to make sure it's done. so i sent that back; the manger told me she would pay for it. so i order another steak to be cooked well done, by that time it was time to close. they bout another streak out and this time the steak was bleeding even more the the first one. i had to take it home and cook it again. it has a great season but the cooks just do not no how to cook it well done. i also no a girl who works there and she told us that all the cooks at this place never cook before, and alot of people have been sending there steak back to be re cooked. like i said if you like a raw steak this is a place for you. if you like a well done steak please do not waste you time at this place. i did not even get to eat with my family, and plus they still messed up on the second steak. ps. the bread is great**
If you haven't tried Hickory BBQ recently, you need to check it out. New owners took over May 2016 and they have gotten off to a great start. We have been there several times and the food was great. Their catfish was outstanding. Had the Chicken, Shrimp, and Burger so far, and all were worth the trip. Check out their new website at www.HickoryBBQPit.com. After scanning through their new website, it is obvious that they take the BBQ industry serious. After talking to the owners, Jim and Jeremy, I learned they are a father and son team with years of experience in the restaurant and BBQ business. They even took me on a tour of their kitchen where I got to see the "Pit", simply amazing. Hickory BBQ is going to be a regular feeding spot for my family. I think I feel like ribs next. Check it out for yourself and you will agree that Hickory BBQ is one of the best things to happen for Fort Myers. Good job Jim & Jeremy, keep up the Great Work!!!!!!
we loved the atmosphere, the service was great! The Lobster roll was tasty but the pieces were so so small it was not like NewEngland AT ALL. wouldn't get it again. The Middle necks ? really so so tiny. the lazy mans lobster had way too much bread crumbs in it, Not good at all , it's all you could taste, very over powering. The stuffed shrimp had a stuffing that was so soggy, I don't know what happened to that? the mashed potatoes were wonderful, and the green bean Fresh!! :) so good.Improve the Lobster roll, much bigger chunks! Maybe a little bit of mayo~ok. less bread crumbs on the dishes that require them, for sure.we'll come back, and try more things.we are from Massachusetts, lived there are whole lives, and live here now. have been looking for a place that would be like home. Didn't quite hit the mark,
