Pittman Air-Conditioning
I thought I may have a problem with mold so I called around to find out if they had anyone on staff that had any experience or certifications for mold and air quality. You see I called a bunch of air conditioning companies and none of the ones that I called had anyone who was certified as a mold inspector or had any indoor air quality experience or certifications. When I called Coolair Conditioning Inc. I thought I was going to get the same answer I had recieved from all my other inquires. But fortunatley I was wrong with Coolair. They said that they have a Certified Mold inspector, Home Inspector, Indoor air quality inspector on staff. They told me this gentleman was also a EPA Certified Type 2 air conditioning technician so he could continue any investigation to the air conditioning. I asked what that meant and they told me that this person was one of the few mold inspectors that could actually open up the air conditioner to look for mold and air quality issues. By this time I was almost begging them for this guys name. They told me he had his own company Jacob Mermin Inspections and he was also on staff with Coolair inc. as a consultant. They set everything up for Mr. Mermin to come out and take a look at my situation and tell me what my options were. They also gave me his phone number 239-243-7322 and his website www.jminspector.com. Mr Mermin came out for free and told me before I start spending a bunch of money I should get some lab tests done to find out if there was anything there to worry about. He took some swabs and air tests, I was suprised how reasonable his rates were. When he got the results back he called in Coolair inc. so that he could tell them what needed to be done to solve my problems. I found Coolair inc. to be a very good company and I would recommend them to anyone. I thank them very much for getting me in touch with Jacob Mermin Inspections. He was great and was extremley helpfull to me. He told me that his loyalty was to me and I thought that was very refreshing. I highly recommend Jacob Mermin Inspections and Coolair air conditioning inc. C.R. CraigFt. Myers, Fl.

Siggs Air Conditioning Inc
Our old air conditioner had finally died in the middle of one of the hottest weeks in August. We are a very busy sales and service organization and had no way to work in the heat. Panicking, I contacted Siggs Air Conditioning. Rich Siggs helped us decide which air conditioner would be best for us and made the actual purchase painless, and even though they were slammed with business, they were able to work us in quickly. The day of installation the technicians arrived ON TIME and they were both professional and courteous. We were extremely busy that morning; however they were able to go about their business without disturbing any of us. I probably would not have noticed they were even here if not for the cool air starting to fill the office. AHHHHHH, relief. They even cleaned up after themselves, which is rare these days. These guys are FANTASTIC!!!! Thank you Siggs Air Conditioning. A++++++Cynthia DuffPresidentCopyLady, Inc.

ARS-Rescue Rooter
Wayne H. HVAC Tech. We have been customers of ARS, Ft.Myers for a dozen years and have always been highly satisfied with their products and services. As an organization they are prompt and through. Wayne began performing the routine service calls a couple of years ago and continues at our request for him. He always goes above the high standard of service that ARS provides with innovative solutions. He has most nearly solved a decades old drainage problem that we thought was insoluable short of dynamite to the slab! He is always professional and is adept at explaination of problems and solutions. He is particular to detail and properly documents his work.

ARS-Rescue Rooter
We've used ARS for our AC for since 1999, and have been very happy them. Wes L. installed our a new state-of-the-art system for us in 2008. We were extremely impressed with his competence and professionalism in implementing a new design for our home with a two-zone system. We are so please with how well the system works and the much lower electric bills. We always request Wes for our twice a year service from ARS. He clearly explains what he is doing and any issues that arise. Wes has truly earned our trust and confidence.

We have two Air Handling units. One appeared not to be working so we contacted Advanced Air to check it out. Anthony B arrived on time, & notified us ahead of time that he was on the way. After a thorough inspection he located the problem and fixed it. We asked him how to prevent a recurrence and he recommended a slight design change which he implemented on this trip, no return call.Anthony B is smart diligent and eager to do the right thing. We enjoyed meeting him and will definitely have him back.

I had a new house but the AC didn't cool well so I called out Jason from Kobie Kooling. I thought there might be something wrong with my unit. Jason really knows his stuff, after a bit of investigation & testing Jason told me the AC was working perfectly however the reason the house wasn't cooling properly was because we didn't have enough return vents for the size of the house. He had two more ceiling return vents installed and now it's awesome. Thank you for all your expertise Jason

Sunset Air and Home Services
This was a semi-annual maintenance on our A/C system. Kasey was friendly and professional. He called to let us know he was on the way, introduced himself and explained what he was going to do. Then he quietly went about completing the checks and didn’t leave anything behind. When he was finished he went through the invoice and then left with a smile. I hope we get him again! It was late at night and our AC was not working. Jason McArthur came over and it took 2 seconds to let me know that I needed the water sucked out of it. It was working like a charm. About 2weeks later it happened again and he came out again, since I requested him, and fixed it again. He also put something in the AC unit so it wouldn't happen again and it hasn't.

Lt Air
This company was highly recommended in Cypress Lake Manor South. The first job was great. The second time for another unit, he repaired the air once then it went out again. Now we cannot get him to come back out and repair the unit. His wife says he will be there but he does not show up. We are going to take him off our recommendation list in our complex.

Advanced Air & Refrigeration, Inc.
Anthony B. was very technically savvy. He rapidly diagnosed the problem and set about fixing it. All in a friendly, co-operative manner while bringing me up to date on the new Wifi thermostat technology. Had the patience to suffer through several computer password update requirements and got everything up and working. Great job.
Tips & Advices
You can keep your air conditioner running efficiently with some preventative care measures. Shut off the power to your AC before cleaning it or performing any of these tasks:  clean your filter at least twice a year; remove leaves and twigs from cages; clean the fins with a garden hose or special spray, then use a butter knife to straighten any that are crooked; keep your yard clean so the fins won't get blocked; cover the unit up for winter; and make sure it's level or you run the risk of damaging the inner workings of the unit.
To clean your air conditioner drain, first shut off the power to your unit at both the thermostat and the breaker. Then remove the drain pan. If the pan is full of water, soak up the liquid with a few towels or rags or use a wet vacuum. You can use a solution of water and distilled vinegar, or substitute peroxide for the vinegar, to clean out the drain pipe. Let the pipe sit for a while in the solution and then put all the parts back in place. Once you start using your air conditioner on a regular basis, check it periodically to ensure condensation isn't building up.
If you happen to live in a hot and humid area of the country, drainage problems can occur with your unit since moisture can trap itself inside the system. Routine maintenance can cut down on drainage issues by cleaning out any mold or algae from blocking the drain. If you notice moldy smells whenever you turn the thermostat down, check on your system.
If you notice your system is acting inconsistently, the sensor is most likely out of place. Turn off the unit and reach behind its control panel while carefully bending the sensor back into place near the evaporative coil.
Find out where the noises are coming from. A banging or clanking sound could be due to a loose part. If you hear a hissing sound, it's most likely because of a refrigerant leak and you should contact an HVAC technician as soon as possible.
