Bowzee Wowzee Pet Inn
I have been taking my dogs there for day care and boarding for a little over a year now. They love going to "school" and I have peace of mind knowing the staff there love them almost as much as I do. The staff is friendly, loving and amazing with all types of dogs (and cats). We love it there.

Boarded my dog here for 12 days while on vacation. He can home extremely skinny, dehydrated, not eating or drinking and hacking like crazy. He came home filthy he stunk aswell as his toys and bed. They were supposed ti give him a bath but didnt confusion on date I wss picking him up even though paperwork saud date and I verbally told them date. Hesup to date on shots and was healthy before he went here. So I called and voiced my concern. Talked to Donna the owner and she had another employee call me . I told hold her was taking him yo thd vet snd she said call me when I find out whats wrong. So I called and told het he had kennel cough. She ruddely stated thst there was no way and said dhe was calling me vet. She had no concern for my dog and I got no apology. I paid $325 to them snd had a hefty vet bill. You would think customer service would be better. I hope my dog gets better soon.

Poochie's Grooming Salon
In response to Katie's review, this is a dog grooming salon so yes, depending on the time and/or day the place can be a little messy. Max is a great dog but is difficult for nail trimming. It is not uncommon here, or at other salons, for the dog owner to hold the dog for trimming if no other staff is available.

Poochie's Grooming Salon
I would not recommend this groomer. I took my dog here more than once thinking the service would improve. Poochie's always seemed dirty and under staffed. During my last visit I had to hold my dog while the groomer attempted to clip his nails. Isn't that what I are paying them for?
Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
