After experiencing the best possible service from the movers of Top notch movers, I have decided to recommend them. I was about to hire a different moving company but when they changed their quote just a day before the move, I hired this company. I just checked the net, got numbers of many moving companies, called few of them and finally hired this company. Actually after a long discussion with their sales rep Henry, I made this decision. However, I was worried about the move because I had no idea about this company. But everything went smooth as silk. Movers played their part perfectly. They came on time, carefully wrapped everything, did well to move the fragile items, completed the job within the allotted time and without any damage and also charged a very reasonable amount. I am more than happy and impressed with the move. I do believe that they are one of the best in town. I am surely going to use them for my next move.

Moving companies have quite a reputation of giving you a quote and then adding 1/4th of that money later on to the final bill citing other costs. I have been fooled this way before. So this time when I was to move, I asked around to find out more about the leading moving companies. Turned out, Top notch movers always gave you a reasonable quote after a consultation with you and they always stuck to it. I got the proof when I hired them. They were very thorough during the consultation and gave me a really good quote. Let me add here, I do have a lot of stuffs! I was quite worried while receiving my final bill at the end of the move. I was very happy to see that it was the exact amount mentioned in my quote.

Outstanding!!‎‎ Chris, Lee, and Brandon were very helpful and considerate. Chris was very concerned when he discovered I had fallen - and he was ready to do whatever was necessary to help make me more comfortable. I said I thought I was fine, and he said he would make sure the move got done quickly, in case I needed to go the doctors. Well, I did need to go - so he, Lee, and Brandon were very efficient and expedient in getting my items moved into my new home as quickly as possible - so that my daughter could get me to urgent care. At the end of the last month I was looking to hire a very affordable and reliable moving company to take care of our move. We were very concerned about the move because we wanted to have a perfect move. Neither I nor my wife could have afforded to lose any of the stuffs during the move because everything was attached with our so many sweet memories. When the movers were moving the stuffs, it was great to notice them being very careful and accurate. When they asked me to check the inventory after the move, I was happy like anything to see that all our belongings in one piece and without any damage! Using top notch movers proved to a great one for us. When I heard about this company from my cousin I was interested to try them at least once. So, I used them for my recent move to Arkansas from Florida. I had high expectations from them. They did not let me down. Their movers applied their skills and experience to the fullest and managed all the odds very tactfully. They had all necessary tricks which are necessary for a long distance move. Though they were not in a hurry but somehow they managed to complete the task a lot before the allotted time and surprisingly charged less than the quoted amount. After checking the inventory it was clear that I got the best move ever.

I went to San Jose, CA from Lauderhill, FL last month with the help of Top notch movers. I am an owner of a web solution business. My parents are very sick who are living in Miami. That’s why I decided to move my office in a convenient place. I was looking for a well reputed moving company. I was happy with Top notch movers. I am a piano lover. I have three pianos and I play all three. Just a couple of days ago I bought the third one and added that in my collection. It is a Grand Piano. But moving a piano is never an easy task. It demands professionals. So, I hired Top notch movers but I had several other options too. Once I talked with Henry, I decided to assign Top notch movers for the move. They have successfully moved the piano from the shop to my home and managed to set it up exactly where I wanted. Nothing was damaged, not even a single scratch and they got the job done in quick time and also charged a very moderate amount. I give them a 5 star rating for the job well done.

Top Notch Movers did a great job for me, i recently moved to NJ and used Top Notch as my moving company, they did their job well. Because my previous place was in Boynton Beach they provided me with a visual estimate and guaranteed me that the price will not change. They kept their promise , and by the end of the move the only thing i was required to do is to sign paperwork and go to my Hotel. They gave me good delivery time frame so i could arrange everything with my property manager and prepare for the furniture arrival. Overall - one of the best moving experiences that i ever had, i would recommend them in the future - Thank you guys!

Tony and his crew were the best - extremely fast, extremely polite and extremely friendly. All of my stuff was intact and no damage done to either premise. If you've ever had a bad experience with some of the more shady movers in the city - go with this company. Prices are good and worth every penny. Use them and I am sure you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend these guys - super fast, affordable and reliable! They showed up on time, got right down to business and we were moved out of our 1 bedroom and into the new place in very easily. No hidden costs. No damages. No complaints. Job well done by Top notch movers.

Yes, it’s best to empty drawers, wardrobes and chests before a move. Items always get knocked around a bit, and doors can fly open even if they’ve been taped. In fact, more often than not, movers will want to remove the drawers from a dresser--or disassemble the wardrobe to be more space-efficient.
Yes, it is customary to tip movers, but the amount varies widely. For full-service moves, a 5 percent tip is suggested, although, for extra service, some people go up to 10 percent . For small local movers, you can give each mover $10 for a few-hour job, or $20-$40 for jobs that take longer.
A bill of lading is the legal contract for the move. It provides a detailed receipt, in addition to a contract between the client and the mover. It authorizes the mover to transport the goods from one specific point to another, and it outlines the exact scope of services, with cost breakdown for those services. It also provides an itemized list of the inventory, and carrier liability protection for each declared item. Finally, it specifies the payment arrangement. Make sure to go over your itemized list extremely carefully before finalizing the paperwork--and get a copy of the full document. A good mover will go over everything on the bill of lading with the customer.
There are several items that moving companies will not move – those items will be listed on a document as “non-allowables.” These items typically fall in three categories: perishables, sentimental/personal items, and hazardous material. Perishables are food and plants. Sentimental/personal value is up to the client to decide, but usually includes jewelry, medical and dental records, personal paperwork, valuables and collectibles. Hazardous material is the tricky category, since it includes a lot of everyday items found in the garage, garden or kitchen. For example, cleaning liquids and pesticides both are considered non-allowable by many companies. Some go so far as to disallow nail polish and batteries.
A binding estimate means that the moving company cannot charge more than the stated amount, though they can lower the final bill if the scope of the job was smaller than expected. A non-binding moving estimate is more likely to wind up costing more than expected, since the movers can increase their rates for unforeseen variables like stairs, “long carry” and materials.
