Recovery Unplugged Treatment Center
I'll admit that I wasn't sure how listening to music could help a person get clean and move toward recovery from heroin or opioids, but Recovery Unplugged works by actually showing patients exactly how to use music to heal. Group therapy was truly one of the most inspiring things I've ever been apart of and I'm grateful to have been exposed to this amazing treatment method. I'm a lifelong musician, but never dreamed that music could resonate on this deep of a level. Not only does Recovery Unplugged offer a fresh and innovative clinical take on drug and alcohol treatment, it is staffed with some of the most capable doctors and treatment professionals in the addiction care industry. The staff is heavily invested in patients' recovery programs, and the facilities are super clean, comfortable and inviting. Everyone who works there really wants to see patients do well, and gets to know that them as people, not just a collection of symptoms and a "rock-bottom" story. Music truly does make the least it did for me.

Liberty House
Liberty house has saved my life. I was there for 9 months in 2015. They have extremely clean apartments. Very structured program ensuring high success rates. I cant say enough about the staff. Lisa Sax the owner is one of the most genuine, compassionate, kind hearted women ive ever met in my life. She goes well out of her way to make sure each resident is comfortable. Steve Sax, her brother, didnt fall far from the tree. He is there on a daily basis making sure all needs are met. Steve Matthews and Chuck Manley , the managers, are two of my personal best friends. They are there day or night willing to help with anything. I literally would not be sober without this place. They have gone well out of their way to make sure I have had a safe place to be and continue my sobriety. Literally pulling me off the street on one occassion. I literally cant say enough about this place and recommend it to anyone who is serious about recovery. Never any incidents of stealing, they arent out for your money and genuinely care about your well being and recovery.

Rehab Detox Treatment Center
Rehab Detox Treatment helped me into a program when I felt hopeless. I have been into 3 detox centers before and each time I relapsed. I have wanted to get clean but these other programs never seemed to care. Rehab Detox Treatment staff actually cared about me and helping me get sober. They helped me through withdrawal and then therapy which helped me to understand that a lot of my drinking was because I was suffering from depression. I am now 4 months clean and I am living in a sober community. I couldn't have done this with out the support of the counselors I called that day and everyone else they introduced me to along the way. THANK YOU !!!

Rehab Detox Treatment Center
Thank you Rehab Detox for encouraging me to tell my story. The outpouring of support that I have received as well as the connections I have made, are invaluable. I have struggled with recovery and maintaining sobriety but everyday I wake up with a new message from someone who read my story and hearing how it helped them.... is helping me!!Just a few weeks ago I made a connection on facebook through rehab detox, someone had read my story and was facing similar struggles. My biggest fears getting clean revolved around withdrawal and my new friend felt the same way. Together we talked to one of the supportive counselors at Rehab Detox and with there help my new friend entered into a treatment program offering medical detox. I can't explain how good it felt to know that my struggles helped someone else overcome theirs. The caring woman from the helpline took the time to talk my new friend through her concerns and provided honest advice. You don't find that dedication many places.

Rehab Detox Treatment Center
Rehab Detox Treatment has an inspiring platform that urged a close and personal friend of mine to seek help for his alcohol addiction. After reading a few stories & testimonials on the rehab detox website, he was filled with hope and for the first time felt that he could finally break free from the mental captivity that addiction had him bound to. I asked him about this experience and he explained to me that after calling one of the specialists on their toll-free helpline, they were able to place him in a detox program where he prospered and became a completely new person. Awesome Work Rehab Detox Treatment!
Tips & Advices
  • Talk about specific consequences of their drinking.
  • Choose a time soon after the person experiences a drinking-related problem (missing a shift at work, for example).
  • Do not threaten, guilt, lecture, preach, or use negative labels.
  • Do not try to discuss alcoholism when the person is intoxicated.
Therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists who specialize in the condition can all diagnose and treat alcoholism. People with alcohol-related concerns can also consult their general practitioner, who will refer them to a specialist.
Detoxification is a medically supervised period of alcohol withdrawal to allow the body to purge itself. A doctor or treatment specialist closely monitors a patient to ensure the symptoms of withdrawal do not cause harm. Side effects of alcohol detoxification include:
  • Sweating
  • Vomiting
  • Elevated heart rate
  • High blood pressure
  • Tremors
  • Nausea
  • Sleep issues
  • Paranoia or anxiety
  • Hallucinations
  • Seizures
The cost of addiction treatment varies depending on the type of facility, amenities offered, treatment provided, and size and length of the program. Detoxification ranges from $1,000 to $15,000. Inpatient facilities cost anywhere from $6,000 to $30,000 for a 30-day program and include detoxing. Outpatient programs can cost $500 per session.
Outpatient alcoholism treatment is a part-time form of rehabilitation. Patients continue their normal lives during the day and return to the treatment facility several times per week. Outpatient treatment is generally cheaper than inpatient and can be helpful for people with less severe addictions. Inpatient treatment programs require patients to stay at the facility 24/7 until the completion of the program. They provide a highly controlled environment for patients to overcome their addictions without the distractions or temptations of everyday life. These clinics provide round-the-clock medical care and often include hours of group and personal therapy. Inpatient programs are beneficial for people with severe addictions or those who have overdosed.
