I have no idea what that other reviewer is talking about but I was there the same day and I thought the bartender lady there was GREAT! I thought she was charming, witty and has a great laugh. Food was good and drinks were reasonably priced. Will definately go again. I hear they have karaoke tonight. May just go check that out. Will let you know how that turns out.

You have got to check out this bar! Couldn't be happier with the service from the bartender Doug. I cant wait to go back this weekend!
2471 E Commercial Blvd
It's a lot of fun here conversation always going on with the person sitting next to you or your bartender. The place looks great inside it's small but it's a very fun environment they have this tradition where you can write on a dollar bill and staple it on the wall to show that you have been there I can't tell you how many single dollar bills are stapled around the walls there. All the bartenders are very attractive very cute most of the girls wear knee-high socks and it's about 90% female stuff. You will never see anybody on their phone in there they all take their job serious food comes out almost immediately prices are easy to work with and they specialize in fireball whiskey they even have these amazing chicken wings called fireball wings make sure you try them it's probably the best wings I have ever had and I have been to a lot of wings places these will get you hooked. It's right down the street from me so sometimes when I can't find plans I'll take a cab up there and just go hang out because every time I'm there I always leave happy. Replace great food great bedside manner great service just amazing they actually opened up a new one off of North Federal. But this one will always be my favorite

Took our family for my Mom's B'day Brunch. The food and selection was great as was the service!! They've done a beautiful job on the renovation of this establishment. The ambience at our inside table by the window was spectacular and we especially loved the backround sounds of the live steel drum musician only steps away from us. We live in Ft. Laud. yet felt like we were in the Carribean. Only problem, if at all possible you've got to leave room for the dessert offerings because they are to die for.\r \r

Only park at a meter or the club lot! An extra word of caution. We read the previous review of parking, but didnt think much of it and paid the consequences. It is very tempting to park at a nearby lot. We had all three cars in our party towed in a matter of 15 minutes. A word of wise to the clubowners, this is a major problem, so they should notify their loyal customers. At $80 a tow, we were broke and sober. : (

This place has been here a loooooong time and its still bangin'. Even though its kinda outta the way its well worth it for the bottle specials and friendly staff. Kinda needs a touch up here and there but hey its basically a landmark! Everyone knows Art Bar! Check it out Saturdays, usually slammed.
20.Bimini Bay Bar
412 SE 32nd St
This is my favorite little get away in Ft. Lauderdale! As a girl going to a bar is a steep proposition, but "BBB" is a great local, hometown, good time, great people, mellow bar with a dart board! Bimini Bay Bar has cool bartenders and patrons who are not pretentious - they are just good hometown people, and you always feel welcome when you go there. A big thank you to the owners who manage to keep prices low, and the beers very, very cold.

I used to live in South Florida for 5 years and have the tranformations of this Ft. Lauderdale staple. From the days of the Edge to the Chilly Pepper. Finally Ft Liquordale has the South Beach feel without attitude and price. Star Bar has the only outdoor party scene in the Lauderdale area(think Niki's in South Beach). Cabanas with bottle service, garden like zen with a waterfall and a sexy staff will have people from all over hitting up this new spot for years to come. Now with the opening of the inside(Venu) with the capability of housing big name acts and other shows. Star Bar/Venu will be the hottest new place to be scene in 2003. See you there. What up Dogg, JJ, D, Beard.

When we first walked up to the entrance, nobody would even acknowledge us. They were just walking around without any urgency at all. So we stopped someone and asked if we should just seat ourselves (the place was about 25% occupied). The waitress finally comes up after about 15-20 minutes to give us our menu.We ordered some drinks. (Something that the waitress stated was the strongest drink they have which was already mixed) So im thinking I would get a nice buzz. Nope! it was like drinking juice. ordered another one thinking the second one would do it..Nope! again. Juice! Waited forever, the food finally comes out. Huge portion...but Nooo flavor at all! and really oily pasta. The show was nice although it seemed to last forever and people were losing interets not even really watching it anymore. At a certain time, it turns into a club and all the employees all of the sudden get to moving fast to clear the tables and chairs. The music they started playing was reggae which was really nice, but by then our whole expectation of the place was shot down. We really wanted it to be an upbeat, great service, great food experience. I would not go there again unless we hear theres been some great changes beacsue It really is in a nice location and nice ambiance.

I drove from Palm Beach because I promised my cousin to take him out for his belated 21st birthday. Never been there and another cousin suggested we go. Of course Las Olas was crazy, people walking into traffic, nowhere to park, so I paid to park. I walk to the club and get in the line. This umpa lumpa doorman tells me I can't get in because there's a dress code? I'm wearing an open-toe ankle boot, tight dark skinny-legged jeans, and a black top (showing lots of cleavage). I didn't know they had fashion gurus as doormen. I had no idea that dressing in classy/conservative attire went against any club's dress code policy. As I watched women of the opposite body frame more scantily dressed walk into the club with ease, I ultimately felt discriminated against for my 5'10 voluptuous frame?!
