Wonderful staff. Professional building and team - If you need help or a loved one who needs help, please contact AAC. They are helpful, kind, experienced. I've visited other drug and alcohol rehabs in the past for loved ones. AAC is available to assist and to make your loved one and you feel comfortable during this process of their recovery.

Procare Rehab and Wellness Physical Therapy
“THIS IS NOT THE KIND OF PHYSICAL THERAPY EXPERIENCE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!! Michael Trathen PT actually talks the time to talk to you! Better yet, he listens to you! Coming here has been an incredibly positive experience. Beyond ending my pain, it has taught me so much about my body and how to keep it pain-free.I've had two other experiences with physical therapy, both which basically consisted of the therapist handing me a faded photocopy of stick figures doing exercises and then telling me to go off into a corner to do them.At Procare Physical Therapy, they interviewed me thoroughly about my pain, lifestyle and goals. Then, they created a balanced plan to end my pain and teach me good habits for the future. Two therapists alternated treatment with me, providing hands-on attention and constant communication. For the first time I experienced Craniosacral therapy and the Feldenkrais Method, both of which were revelatory.I hope I never have to go to physical therapy again, but if I do I know exactly where I'm going. I strongly recommend you go there too. Bonus: parking is a breeze and underground. — A. Estrada

Procare Rehab and Wellness Physical Therapy
As both I Doctor and a patient I can tell you that Michael Trathen RPT is by far the best PT I have found. He embodies everything you could ask for in a PT. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. I have been in PT since 1999, for all sorts of injuries (sprained ankle, lower back, upper back, hip, shoulder) on both the West Coast and East Coast- I can state without a doubt -- that Procare Physical Therapy Fort Lauderdale is the best physical therapy out there. Michael is extremely knowledgeable and communicates that knowledge to you, the patient, in whatever dose is right for you (for me, that's big doses). Michael also happens to have a wonderful, positive spirit, which is shared by her upbeat and competent staff. And the facility is bright, sunny, extremely well-equipped, and well-located. You couldn't ask for anything more. I would never go anywhere else other than Procare Physical Therapy.

Serenity Oaks Wellness Center
Horrible experience!! If you want to be treated like you are a piece of garbage stay there. They mislead you that it's like a spa but it's really like prison

Hope & Grace Recovery Center
After graduating from rehab, I had a friend of mine who referred me to Hope & Grace for IOP & OP, and I am very grateful for the referral. Upon moving into one of their halfway houses, I was required to attend IOP 3x a week either in the morning or in the evening and then OP 1x per week. This option was very convenient as it allowed for flexibility while planning my other responsibilities. They even feed you lunch which I didn't deserve at the time so I was grateful to have food in my stomach. Please understand that this is not a luxury treatment center/ halfway facility. If you think that is what you need to recover then think again. Let's think about where we came from. Do we even deserve anything luxury after what we've done? It's only our lives on the line. Nothing serious. The staff is very professional and understanding because they are also in the program. They understand the needs of us sick people and will do anything in their power to make sure we progress in our recovery. You may hear things differently, but that's because those people weren't ready. I, on the other hand, gave 100% to my recovery and I am standing here 9 months later sober and happy! I loved the staff. Rent is super cheap and allows for flexibility until you land a job. All amenities besides food are supplied in halfway. Toilet paper, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, bathroom and laundry supplies, etc. For the price paid to live in this above average apartment, I couldn't have found a better place to recover. I would highly recommend HGR to anyone who is serious about their recovery. Yours Truly,Recovering Alcoholic

Liberty House
Liberty house has saved my life. I was there for 9 months in 2015. They have extremely clean apartments. Very structured program ensuring high success rates. I cant say enough about the staff. Lisa Sax the owner is one of the most genuine, compassionate, kind hearted women ive ever met in my life. She goes well out of her way to make sure each resident is comfortable. Steve Sax, her brother, didnt fall far from the tree. He is there on a daily basis making sure all needs are met. Steve Matthews and Chuck Manley , the managers, are two of my personal best friends. They are there day or night willing to help with anything. I literally would not be sober without this place. They have gone well out of their way to make sure I have had a safe place to be and continue my sobriety. Literally pulling me off the street on one occassion. I literally cant say enough about this place and recommend it to anyone who is serious about recovery. Never any incidents of stealing, they arent out for your money and genuinely care about your well being and recovery.

Hope & Grace Recovery Center
Warning to anyone serious about their recovery: Stay away from this unethical place. They have clients that are actively using while in their program, and they pay clients to go to their facility, which is illegal. They personify the bad behavior taking place in South Florida from some treatment providers. If you are looking to stay clean, you will not be able to do it at this place.
Tips & Advices
If you don't have insurance, you may be able to find outpatient programs like Narcotics Anonymous that offer counseling and meetings for patients at no cost.
Some facilities accept health insurance like United Healthcare, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Humana and Medicaid. Many carriers support in-state assessment, detox and outpatient treatment. Some also partially cover residential or inpatient treatment. Because drug addiction is considered a disease, major health insurance providers must treat it like any other chronic condition that requires medical treatment. Be sure to inquire about co-pays and deductibles so you don't receive a surprise bill months after you start a program.
Yes. Some treatment programs promote quick sobriety through seemingly impossible means, such as herbal supplements or religious affiliation. Be wary of questionable claims like, "Shake your drug addiction in one week!" If the advertising sounds too good to be true, the program could potentially be a scam. Instead, look for organizations that include approval and certification from real doctors and health care providers.
Yes. Attending a program that is specific to your drug of choice will make your treatment much more likely to be impactful and successful.  Some provide certain users with medications like Valium and Xanax to counteract symptoms of distress associated with alcohol or drug withdrawals. You may not want to attend such programs if you fear that you may instead become addicted to these substances.
Yes. A physician can determine how severe your addiction is, which will help you decide if you want to try inpatient or outpatient treatment. He or she can also consider any withstanding health issues such as psychiatric conditions that should be factored into your decision. Next, check out facilities and programs that offer treatment for the substances that you abuse.
