GreenTeam Plumbing
Open your wallet and expect to pay nearly $500.00 to open a stopped drain. We had to call for service after hours knowing we would be paying higher rates on a Sat night. The technician supposedly cleared out the drain in less than 2 hours and the fee was $185.00. Within 48 hrs our toilet and shower backed up and flooded the bathroom floor. We called the Green Team, they returned, and two hours later the drains were clear and the fee was $315.00. The snake that should have been run from the roof on Sat night and one in the shower area took care of the problem. The technician also encouraged us to employ their camera for an additional $350.00 to make sure there were no cracks in the line. Since then, we have seen ads from a reputable company that charges $93.00 to open a drain or it's FREE! Plus it includes a free camera inspection! Granted, that would be the fee for regular business hours, not emergency hours. But nearly $500.00 to do the job that wasn't done right to begin with is not RIGHT! There are always variables that come into play with any plumbing , electrical, air conditioning, etc needs, but in this instance, we felt we were paying excessive fees for a job that wasn't done correctly to begin with!

Davis Do-It-Yourself Plumbing Supplies
Actually I just google about Davi's to see what time they close today (Sunday.till4 pm)I just to read some of the reviews. With my long experience with this place and the staff I can tell you that the staff and the costumer service is great. If I had any small issues the went out of their way to help and advice. The nasty reviews from cheap costumers that took the time to post their bad reviews are from arrogant costumers. If you buy tools(cheap as mentioned) or a small part and you come few weeks later or with no receipt most likely you'll not get any refund any store you go to. If you have any problem and you'll come within reasonable time you'll get a refund.I'm not a plumber but I use this place pretty often. Very recommended

4 Star Plumbing Services
Bob S. came out to remove my bathroom vanity after my roof started leaking so that the restoration company could immediately start drying out the wall behind it. Patience worked with me to get them out here quickly. The restoration company will now be able to dry out the wall. Bob S did a great job of explaining the work involved and removed the vanity without any incident and very efficiently--with the help of Justin. Furthermore, I was very pleased that Bob was able to repair/update the disposal in the kitchen during the same job. Bob S. is a pleasure to work with. I appreciate Bob S. and 4 Star's immediate response times and attention to detail/quality service!

Clog Busters
This is my fifth time using this company in the last five years, both in my previous home in Weston and now in the retirement villa I purchased in Plantation. They are a quick response, fix and honest. I had a leak start on Friday night, they were out of town for Easter but took the time to respond, tell me what to do to avoid damage and were here first thing Monday morning and fixed within an hour. I am very happy with the service offered by this company and cannot recommend them enough!

Very helpful and very courtesy. Nobody in Palm Beach County had it. I am telling everybody. Thank you Davis Do-It-Yourself Plumbing Supplies.

A1 Paradise Plumbing & Air Conditioning
Plumbing problems? New install? A1 Paradise did what was expected and more. Same day service and I saved using one of their coupons. I had to replace kitchen and bathroom plumbing and as you can imagine it was way more work than I can do myself. Saved time and money! A1 was great and easy to work with.

Paradise Plumbing was wonderful. Juan serviced my home and did exactly what I was told he'd do. He was prompt, competent and overall professional. I'm sure there are other good companies, but doubtful they'd be better. Paradise will always be my first call for plumbing issues.

A1 Paradise Plumbing & Air Conditioning
I had an excellent experience with this company. I wanted the plumbing inspected on an older house I'm in the process of purchasing and Alan G was very thorough and helpful! He checked the pipes with a camera, and I feel spent ample time inspecting everything.

Very stubborn, old toilet...but Bob to the rescue! He was like a detective-checking every part of the toilet over and over, until he solved the mystery, then fixed the problem! He was thorough, courteous and professional. A very pleasant experience.
Tips & Advices
The following tools and common household objects can be used to clean drains at home:
  • A plunger
  • A drain snake
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Grease-fighting dish soap
Homeowners can mix boiling water with any of the last three products to break up grease and grime.
The main ingredients in clog removal liquid products are sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite. According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, both break down into relatively harmless components when it comes into contact with water or soil. However, both substances cause mild irritation to skin and internal tissues.
Also known as a drain auger, a drain snake is a coiled device around ΒΌ-inch thick. To use a drain snake, put the end into the entrance of the drain. Turn the handle to force the snake deeper, using extra pressure to force it through the bend in the pipe. Keep turning until the snake hits the clog, then either pull the snake and remove the obstruction or force it through. Once the snake is out of the drain, run the water on full blast for a few minutes to ensure the obstruction is completely removed.
Plungers don't damage residential pipes, but the force created by the act of plunging weakens the seal between the toilet and the floor.
Many plumbers, both local businesses and nationwide chains, offer emergency or same-day services.
