Fort Collins Pain Treatment Center
lOVE THESE TWO DOCS, WITH THEIR SMALL ONE ON ONE PAIN TREATMENT ATTITUTE. ALL VERY PERSONABLE, KIND, AND THOUGHTFUL. CLINIC IS CLEAN, WELL APPOINTED AND PEACEFUL. DR AMY GENTRY AND DR CLEMENS, BOTH HIGHLY REGARDED AND RESPECTED BY REGIONAL DOCTORS IN THE MEDICAL FIELD. THE ONLY DRAW BACK IS THE VERY POOR ATTITUDE, IF NOT OUT RIGHT MEAN AND RUDE, AT TIMES, OF THIS FRONT DESK PERSON, CASSANDRA. IF IT WERE NOT FOR HER POOR TREATMENT OF MYSELF AND WHAT IVE SEEN OF OTHER SEVERELY ILL PAIN PATIENTS, WHO ALL, AS NEAR AS I CAN TELL, PUT UP WITH HER, JUST TO GET INTO THESE TOP DOCTORS IN THEIR AREA OF EXPERTISE. I THINK IT'S SAD THAT WE HAVE TO PUT UP WITH BULLY TYPE OF BEHAVIOR, AND POOR ATTITUDE, FROM THIS RECEPTIONIST, WHEN WE ARE SICK AND SOME DAYS UNABLE TO EVEN DEFEND OUR SELVES, LITTLE LONE, TOLERATE PURPOSEFUL DISCRIMINATION OF THE PAIN POPULATION. MOST OF ARE THERE, BECAUSE OUR DISEASES HAVE GONE UNMITIGATED, UNATTENDED, AND OR IMPROPERLY DIAGNOSED BY THE MEDICAL PHYSICIANS, WHO'S JOB IT IS TO HEAL, YET THE SYSTEM DOESN'T FIND SOLUTIONS FOR US, OTHER THAN TELLING US TO GET PAIN TREATMENT, AND THEN WE HAVE TO BE TREATED LIKE WERE LESS THAN INDIVIDUALS, BY THE WOMEN WHO TAKES APPOINTMENTS, SCHEDULES (PAST DUE DATES) AND REFUSES TO GET OUR MESSAGES TO THE DOCTORS, AS SHOULD HAPPEN. IF YOU DON'T MIND THIS KIND OF TREATMENT BY THE BULLY AT THE DOOR, ID HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE TWO DOCS. THEY DO NOT TAKE EVERY CASE, AS THEY ARE CAREFUL NOT TO POTENTIATE THE OVER DRUG USE IN THIS COUNTY. THEY ONLY HELP SEVERE CASES, WHO REALLY NEED ASSISTANCE WITH THEIR PAIN. THIS CLINIC WOULD RECEIVE FULL SCORE, IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE WANNA BE HITLER WHO TREATS PATIENTS AS IF THEY ARE WEARING THE JEWISH STAR ON THEM, FROM BACK IN HITLER DAYS! BEST OF LUCK, FT. COLLINS PAIN TREATMENT CLINIC! GET RID OF THE MEAN, RUDE, DEGRADING WOMEN WORKING AS THE RECEPTIONIST, AND YOUR SCORE WILL GO BACK UP TO THE FIVE STARS IT WAS WHEN I FIRST STARTED WITH YOU FIVE OR SIX YEARS AGO.
Tips & Advices
Scoliosis is a disorder where the spine curves sideways. Most people develop the condition during the growth spurt before puberty. The cause of scoliosis is unknown and most cases are mild, but the rare severe instances can disable a person.
Orthopedic surgeons attend four years of medical school, then four to five years of orthopedic residency in a hospital. They must also be licensed and certified in orthopedic surgery by the state in which they practice.
The terms "orthopedic doctor" and "orthopedic surgeon" refer to the same profession. Related specialties include podiatrist, a doctor who works with the bones, tendons and ligaments in the feet, and a sports medicine physician, a doctor specially trained to treat athletes.
The cost of a visit to an orthopedic surgeon depends on the type of tests ordered and treatment given. For example, an MRI costs $500-$1,300. An initial consultation costs $100- $500, while anesthesia for a procedure generally ranges from $2,000-$4,000. Overall, an orthopedic surgery can cost anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000.
During a consultation or first appointment with an orthopedic surgeon, the practitioner will ask the patient a variety of questions to understand the situation. The surgeon might ask about the patient's pain levels, medical history, and any prior injuries. Then, the surgeon will administer a physical exam and possibly schedule tests to better understand the problem. Possible tests include a stress test, x-ray, or MRI.
