I really wish 0 stars was an option. The character limit on this review site will not let me tell even half the story of the horrendous experience me and my wife have been forced to deal with over the last couple of months. In short: we were having sewage back up issues and were told by J&C Plumbing all of our sewer lines from our concrete patio to the city line needed to be replaced; we paid to have the whole line replaced; we were told the whole line was replaced, and we have a receipt confirming the statement. However, we are close to 3 months out and I still do not think we are out of the water with our sewage issue as they STILL have failed to replace ALL of the old line (even after they dug up part of old line for a second time). The point is, PLEASE AT ALL COSTS, AVOID J&C PLUMBING. I NEVER want ANYONE to have to go through what we have had to deal with. They were rude and unprofessional, they lied multiple times, they were childish, they were disrespectful, and they were impossible to get a hold of after they got our money. Check my Facebook page for a public post of our full story, with confirming photos included. Also check their Facebook reviews; our full story is posted as a review.

One of my friend's friends just recently had a handgun stolen from his house by one of Jason's employees. I have heard that this has happened before with other valuables. A lot of the reviews he has is posted by his family.
Tips & Advices
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
  • Before calling a plumber, try to unclog your drains and toilets yourself by using a plunger.
  • Make sure you use a standard bell-shaped plunger for your sink and shower drains and a plunger with a flanged end for your toilets.
  • If neither type can loosen the pipe blockage, put a plumber's snake to use.
  • Ratchet the snake down the pipe to eliminate any clogs.
Usually, a leaky or dripping faucet is an easy fix that can be done by anyone who is even slightly handy with tools.. To fix it, first shut off the water under the sink then remove any decorative parts of the faucet and replace the washer and O-ring before reassembling everything.
To keep yourself safe from fraud or a possible scam, always remember to ask plumbers for their license along with a written warranty for their labor. Besides this, further safeguard yourself by checking their references and ensure they or their company is insured and bonded to do their work.
If you're having hot water issues, you can examine the thermostat and adjust it accordingly. If you hear odd sounds coming from your water heater, it could be due to sediment building up. To get rid of this, make sure you clean out the heater every few months. However, if you hear a boiling noise, it could mean the heater is overheating and you should call a plumbing professional as soon as possible.
