Flint Family Dentistry
1st I would like to thank the staff for their courtesy. now Dr. Daneshvar I have to thank you for kindness and patience with me. I know this is supposed to be short but I feel people should know about this dentistry and dentist. I know he probably won't remember this as I am still one of his many patients. 1st, I have to admit I have anxiety issues when it comes to the dentist; I just don't tolerate it well. I was in a lot of pain one day and was referred to this office. I went in crying fro hurting badly. However, I didn't think he would service me as it was very late in the afternoon and they were busy but he did. the staff took me back as my husband gave some info and he worked me in and right out of pain. I thank him for caring enough to help me and I appreciated his kindness and not judging me. Until this day he cares for my dental health and helping me to keep my own teeth despite my challenging medical condition that threatens them. one couldn't ask for a better dentist.

Wendling Orthodontics
Dr. Wendling is outstanding in her profession. She takes the time to explain the necessary treatment and then delivers excellent care at every appointment until case is completed. The result a Gorgeous smile for a life time! My two children loved coming to Wendling Orthodontics. The customer service is over and above any medical / dental practice I have visited. The front office staff is super knowledgeable, friendly, smiling, and always making you feel great you came you in. The Clinical staff is highly trained and work very closely with Dr Wendling keeping her on schedule and assisting her in each procedure. Which allowed my kids to meet, talk and laugh with the many awesome staff members. As a mom you know when your kids are happy you are happy. I couldn't have picked a better office or Orthodontist.

Hussein, Malek S
Dr. Malek S. Hussein, D.O Took over Dr. Craig Dolven's , Practice last fall. He is a very friendly and takes his time with his Patients. He takes time to listen to you and your needs very well. I would re-amend anyone to him. Actual he took on My Daughter and Granddaughter , whom moved over From Ludington, MI. One thing he did for My Daughter was he seen My Granddaughter Mae'lynn , Whom had a double ear infection. My Daughter was being told that her health plan she had on her would cover his visit and after we got there to the office they the Health Insurance she had on Her daughter told her that she couldn't be seen by him. That Just show's How rotten these Darn Insurance think that they can run your life.

Flint Family Dentistry
I've been going to the Flint Family Dentistry for a little over a year now. They are all great people, very friendly, and flexible with there hours and scheduling. The dental hygienist and secretary are some of the friendliest and sweetest people I have met. I highly recommend them. You will not regret it. The waiting room is also very child friendly.

Johnson, Zelton G DDS PC
If I had not relocated 3 1/2 years ago, Zelton Johnson would still be my dentist. I was one of his first patients. Through the years, he and his staff became "family". His expertise and counsel was invaluable. Since living in TX, it has been challenging to find another dentist that I can be comfortable with. I will forever be grateful to him.

Benton Family Practice
Dr. Doug is a great doctor who is concerned with finding out why something is wrong instead of just masking it with drugs. The office staff are courteous and very professional. My brother sees the other doctor at the practice and he never has any complaints about him either.

Great Expressions Dental Centers Flint East
I have always been treated with the up most respect and consideration here. The work done has always been more than adequate. My schedule is not always the easiest to accommodate, and they have always been very helpful in this respect. I would recommend them.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
