Primrose School of Fleming Island
My son started at primrose at 16 months. Over the past 5 1/2 years we have experienced nothing but the best. The staff feels like family, is very friendly and professional. My daughter now goes there and she is getting to go through the same classes, AND teachers, my son did. It says a lot to me about a facility when you have longevity with the staff. The owner and management team are always helpful and quick to respond if we ever need anything. There isn't high turnover. The curriculum is consistent and above average. I would not send my children anywhere else. When my husband and I are at work we can rest assured that our children are in the best care around. In almost 6 years of taking both children five full days a week, I have never experienced any of the things that were written in the previous review.

Childtime
I took my son here for speech thinking it'll help. The teacher was awkward and wasn't into teaching my child a thing. We went once and had a sub and loved her! She did so much with him in one session than the other did in three. Mind you the sessions were a half hour for twice a week. It was a waste of time. I changed it to once a week and I felt like I got treated less and less "therapy" for my child. When I took him out he did so much better at home than he ever did at therapy. If that's what they call it. Also they have a small sign that states payment first before any treatment. Them knowing insurance didn't cover the type of therapy they never once said I needed to pay. I asked several times when I needed to pay and was told to walk on back it was no need for that. Now I have a letter stating we will be billed a HUGE bill from wolfsons. If I knew it was so much for the crappy therapy he would have never went. And I only took him a few times. I would have to win the lotto to pay off the bill if he went the full time he was scheduled! DONT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!

La Petite Academy
The director Natalie is such a great person. Much better and completely opposite than the La Petite on CR220. I was always able to talk to Natalie about any concerns I may have had and she was always quick to have them resolved, usually by the end of the day. My daughter was in the 2 year old room and she loves (to this day) Miss Lourdes and Miss Julie. The teachers have a curriculum they follow and the kids learn a lot from their structured class rooms. I wish I didn't move away, other wise my daughter would still be going there!!! I gave it a 4 star because I think they should adjust the child/teacher ratios. I know they are state required minimums, but I think some days 12 two year olds to 1 adult would be difficult to manage and of course adults can't have their eyes in every direction at all times. But other than that, I think they were great to our family and I would definitely recommend them!

La Petite Academy
Children are not supervised! "teachers" don't interact or correct behavior! I walked in on a child swinging a belt and the teacher doing nothing!

Just a moment...
